Jolie Gel Eye Liner Pencil ~ Long Lasting Intense Color (Adorn)

This is the best eyeliner I've tried. My comparison point is mostly drug store brands plus a few higher end items from Clinique, Stilla, and Lancome. I also tried one $100+ gel liner which came in a pot with a brush but I found it difficult to apply and cakey. Pros: -Goes on super smooth, is easy to smudge with brush -Stays in place far better than other eyeliners I've tried, and lasts all day -Rich color Cons: -The only one I can think of is that it can be hard to get off but since I'm asking for product that wears all day, I can hardly call that a flaw. NET NET: I am super faithful to this product and very grateful that I no longer have smudges under my eye by the end of the day.

I purchased 12 eyeliners and tested them to see which ones I liked most. I apply my eyeliner to what's known as "the waterline" of the eye, the inside of the bottom eyelid. I wanted an eyeliner that would last all day and would not smear and make me look like a raccoon. I didn't find any that were perfect. The highest rating I gave to any were 4 stars, and there were three that fit that rating. The list is below, from highest rated to my least favorites. This is the greatest eye liner I've ever used. It's smooth and true to color and for the most part doesn't smudge or wear off and it's easy to remove and doesn't require any special remover. Great product, I've been using it for 5+ years.

I love the rich dark black of Jolie Gel liner pencil, but it wears off quickly. I am in my 50s with dry skin. On my lids, it lasts about half-a-day before I need to reapply (if my eyelids were oily, I might understand, but that is not the case). I bought this gel pencil to use on my waterline. Even letting it dry for a minute, it takes less than 15 minutes for it to break down. I never had this problem with Styli-Style pencils which were much cheaper, but I think the company is out of business due to the pandemic (sadly). So I am still looking for another good eyeliner.

I love this eyeliner. It goes on easily and lasts all day. I have greenish blue eyes and bought the Ivy color. It really brings out the green in my eyes.

This didn't last even 4 hours. It runs and doesn't stay put. hated it!!!!

I’m very pleased with this eyeliner. It glides on easily and stays in place. I was worried at first about how “frosty” it was, but it’s more subtle when on the eyelid. I would recommend.

Very nice product. Looks pretty and goes on easily, especially when fresh. Wonderful for older gals. It is difficult, however, to sharpen the pencil without losing a lot of the eye liner center portion because it is so soft.
