10 STARS!!!! Super easy, looks amazing!
Best thing I have ever done to my car. I literally can't say enough good things about this product!!It was SO EASY, I have no experience painting rims, or for that matter useing spray paint, or anything like that... complete amateur. I watched a video on how to do it, went out and did it, came out AMAZING!What I did... took an extra large trash bag and opened it up to put behind the rims to protect the brakes/rotors. I took an extra step because I did it outside and there was some wind, I cut open some trash bags and put them to cover the paint on the car around the tire from overspray. Started with one light coat on all 4, waited 10 mins for it to dry, then did heavy coats on all 4, waited 10 mins and repeated until all 4 cans were gone. I think I did 4 to 5 coats in all. They looked so good the way they were I did not put the gloss paint on them, I was happy with matte. One or two little runs here and there, not perfect, but you would really have to look for them for it to be noticable. It looks better than I ever expected! Seems to be very durable, easy to clean. It feels "thick" in a way, hard to put in words, but I had a few scratches and "scuffs" on my rims, this completely covered them. They look BRAND NEW.I will add some before and after pictures, it REALLY made the car!

Just right for plastic dip my car covers.
The spray width a bit narrow and thin coming off the nozzle. That makes it suitable for a mat finish. Getting to a glossy finish with the plastic dip is difficult to achieve due to narrow beam and thinly material coming from the can. The glossifier layer adds shine to top the mat finish.I ended up with a mixed areas of mat on the edges and smooth on the flat surfaces of the wheel covers. However, the covers still looking good at 3' away.

Love love love
So I watched a few videos on you tube and decided to give it a try. I have never ever did nothing like this before so this is new to me. I washed my car and cleaned my tires. I also covered up my logo and my nuts on my tires, covered my brake pads and started spraying. It turned out great.

Not just for rims, but used it on trim pieces too!
Unlike a lot of reviews that are painting wheels, I had a trim piece I tried it on. This is a beauty cover at the front of the car...about 3 feet wide and it covers the tie-down on a Land Rover Evoque (front of the car). I had to strip and sand the piece prior to using Plastidip as it was peeling quite bad. After a lot of sanding and cleaning with 99% Isopropanol, it was "good enough" to try Plastidip.First coat you put on is a painfully light tack coat, almost like you dusted it with Plastidip. Let that set for 30 mins then go at it with a heavier coat, but you still are painting so a good sweeping motion so you are not pooling the dip as you go. 6" from the surface is key, and you are not dipping with the piece laying flat on the floor as spray cans do not work well that way (you will get blobbing). This did reveal my sanding wasn't great in a couple of areas, but I kept on putting coats down. After the 4th coat I could see it was smoothing out my bad sanding areas, and I probably put on a good 6 coats and it covered up my lack of sanding really well, you cannot see it in the sun. Finally ended with the glossifier, and only did a couple of coats of that and the piece looks really good now.I will circle back to review how well it has held up as this piece will get bugs and stones tossed at it constantly, so will it start to peel or will it hold up to the abuse of being at the front of the car?

Cheap way to enhance your look
I'm loving the results. It's very easy to apply and pretty foolproof as long as you do your research and prep your wheels well beforehand. I did 6 coats which only used 3 cans, so I used the leftover to black out the emblems on my car. I only did 2 coats of the glossifier and am happy with the slight shine. The spray trigger is a bit flimsy and cheap, but definitely helps avoid hand strain when you're applying so many layers. Definitely worth a shot for a cheap visual enhancement, and fairly easy to remove if you screw up or change your mind later

Works well
Did four coats of black and two of the gloss. Four coats only used two cans. Came out well. Stock rims on a 22-year-old 4Runner. Liked the end result for a cheaper price than buying new wheels.
