NLT Compact Giant Print Bible, Filament Enabled (LeatherLike, Peony Rich Teal, Red Letter)

This is a great size Bible with large print. Pages are thin, but that is normal for the size of this Bible. It would be a great size to travel with . The enabled filament app that is connected to this Bible adds so many features for study, reflection, and maps. You have everything you need on the go with the Bible and your phone. It is a really great addition to anyone that studies the Bible. I wish that there were many more translations available, but I am thrilled with this one.

Very pretty compact bible. Good size printing and more understandable than most bibles out. One thing I dont like is the pages are feather thin and stuck together, but after getting them apart and reading it's all okay. Just wish they make them pages like a regular book. Highly recommend.

I love this version of the Bible because it’s compact but has large enough print for me to read. Because it’s shorter or smaller than your average personal Bible, it necessarily has to be thick. Mine is about 1.5 inches thick. I got it to make a prayer Bible and it is excellent for that and I love the translation because it’s very readable. My daughter saw it and loved the color so I got one for her.

This Bible is beautiful and exactly the right size print. I was afraid it was going to be very very large print but, this is excellent.

I love the print size it does however, that does make it chunky. Being NLT makes it easy to comprehend. If your looking for a Bible to use as a prayer Bible this is a good choice.

I like the size of the print. The lay-flat feature makes it easy to use during study time.

I wanted an NLT Bible to add to my Bible collection and decided on this one for it's size and color. This translation is considered a more thought for thought translation so yes, it isn't going to compare with a word for word translation like the KJV or ESV, but it's also much easier to read and understand. Every translation has its strengths and weaknesses with the best translation being the one you'll actually read. ;-) Translation footnotes make it easy to see what was not included (versus the KJV) and why so you can do your own research. I like the simplicity for general daily reading, but for study I will still use either the KJV or ESV. What I don't like about this translation (or the NIV) is the more gender inclusive language that's not found in word for word translations, but I knew this going in. As far as the actual bible construction... It is a beautiful color and perfect size to grab and go. The text is not what I'd call giant, but it's definitely large print and easy to read. The only issues I had were the presentation page glued too far in (not a deal breaker for me since I'm not giving it to anyone) and every other page is kinda stuck together thanks to the beautiful guilding. I've found after a day or two out of the box, you can get them apart pretty easily. The price it was definitely right and I'm happy to have it in my collection.
