Magpie Bird Refill/Attachment - Fits Wildcat and Popular Bird and Mouse Type Wands/Poles

I have two two-year-old, indoor cats, who great buddies but are as different as night and day. The Tuxedo enjoys a sedentary life, which just shows how different personalities can be quite naturally. As a youngster, he used to hunt the bathroom rug, dragging it all over the house and tearing out the strands. But around 18 months, he became less interested in playing, although he is in good health and chases his bonded bro around just fine.Incoming this BIRD! I put it out and wondered which cat would like it. Bro prefers shiny objects and candy wrappers to chase (like bugs). But our sleepier Tuxedo snapped up the BIRD and it has become HIS. He cannot get enough of it!! Always knows where he puts it. At 4 a.m., he gets up with my husband and brings it to him to throw and catch. When done, the cat stashes it under a bedroom door and then demands its return later when he wants to play again. He plays with The Bird, aka "The Beast", several times a day (and night).Bought a spare in case it gets lost, which would be a calamity. Interesting because the bro will sniff it, but is not engaged by it, although he is a very active hunter himself and loves to play and chase.The toy is made of real fur (which might distress some consumers), but these are CATS we are talking about. It's the most incredibly well-sewn cat toy ever made. It's been months and only lost a feather! You may disapprove of using animal fur, but we've decided that this bird caters to his cat need for hunting, and I feel less guilty about keeping him indoors. Getting him The Eagle for his birthday in August. He will just burst from sheer excitement! (envision eyes popping out!)Thank you for creating these stimulating critters!

I purchased this toy for our cats since they really like to play with items attached to the end of a cat fishing pole. I was drawn to the realism of the look of the toy, but a bit cautious because of the higher price when compared to other fishing pole attachments. As it turns out, this is the best fishing pole attachment we've ever purchased. The realistic look is even better in person, and the toy feels solidly constructed and not easy to rip apart. Most importantly, our cats are anxiously attracted to it. This toy holds their attention for much longer periods of time when compared to other toys we've purchased. If you're looking for a sturdy and realistic looking attachment for a cat fishing pole, this is a great option.

My cats both absolutely loved this toy. I have a 2 year-old cat and a 10-month kitten. The cat usually holds back during the kitten's playtime, but they both went wild over this thing. Something about the smell and texture really appealed to them. The kitten, on first catching it, buried her nose in it and snuffed THOROUGHLY. The cat, on first catching it, held it down and carefully bit it allll over. They both loved the heck out of it. Which, unfortunately, meant it didn't last through a week. My 2 year-old cat is a big, strong girl (Russian Blue), so maybe with other cats the toy will last longer. But even the kitten ripped some of the pieces off. I only let them have access to it while I was moving it around, so luckily no one choked on any of the bits, but that may be a concern.

My two cats are highly active and LOVE these toys. They are especially attracted to the natural materials which hold their attention over days and weeks as opposed to the catnip infused synthetic material toys, which they lose interest in after a playing with once or twice. The kitties will also rip and tear at the toys as if they were real prey, and I feel much more comfortable letting them do so knowing that the natural materials shouldn't hurt them if eaten/swallowed. Love that this comes in a 3 pack, so I can switch the "prey" off the wand every few days and keep them interested. The "bat" is their favorite one from this pack - one of my cats will carry it off in her mouth, dragging the wand behind her to keep it away from the other cat!

Purchased together as a refill for Big Sky Cat Wand. Not recommended for cats that play aggressively. My boy likes to bite down on toys when he catches them. This toy is a choking hazard if left alone with your cat.

The toys from CoolCyberCats are hands-down the BEST cat toys I have purchased, from Amazon or anywhere else. My cats absolutely love wand toys, but as they've gotten older they've gotten pickier about what excites them, and they get bored with the quintessential feather/mouse toys that are sold in packs of ~10 colors for super cheap by dozens of different sellers. I stumbled upon these toys and ordered one on a whim, and I have subsequently returned to order at least 5 different iterations - the buffalo snake, deer mouse, rat pack, etc. My cats are absolutely obsessed with these and react in a way that they don't to other cat toys, I swear they think they're real! They truly look alive when attached to the wand toy, if I didn't know better I might think they're a real mouse or squirrel myself, and my cats clearly think so because they growl and hiss and play with them like they're real (which they don't do for any other toys). Even better, they are STURDY. My cats are hard players, they sprint around after the wand toy and once they've caught what's attached to the end of it, they won't let go. This has broken many cheap Amazon toys but out of all the products I've purchased from this seller, only 1 has broken so far. After it broke, I contacted the seller and he responded right away, sent me a replacement free of charge, and also sent a new product he was working on for my cats to try! They were SO happy and the replacement has held up to many hours of play. I can't speak highly enough of these products or the seller, worth every penny!

These look and feel like real birds, therefore I think it brings out the natural hunter in both of my cats. They go nuts for it. Each toy has a loop on the end so you can attach it to a teaser wand if you prefer. It does shed a little, but not too bad. I am surprised they haven’t tried to tear it apart like they do other toys with feathers. Overall a great toy that will provide hours of fun!
