Works as adveritsed ade set up a snap
As a whole the kit is not very impressive as far as the mount is concerned by itself would be way over priced but the adapter from the Sony radio and the factory Harley Davidson controls is where the value is!No problem in installing and setting things up. However at this price they really should include the "splash cover" I did order one separately from bikterionics but it really should be included. I did have to hard wire the radio to the adapter soldering etc took all of 15 minutes so no big deal at all., I would definitely recommend this as the way to go if installing a Sony Radio into a Harley Fairing.Even with the few short comings I mentioned I would do it again in a heart bear!

Works but not as advertised
The device is suppose to be plug and play with the Sony radio I bought, however that was not the case. I had to skin the wires to get it hooked up. No big deal, but it should not say plug and play with this year model and later if it isn't.

Works great.
I installed this in a 2013 street glide. I installed with a new sony multi-media head unit. The whole install for took me about an hour. It was a breeze. My handle bar controls all work as expected (which is a must IMHO). Great product.

great kit
Very easy to install.. nice kit..i flipped the rough plastic over to the smooth side for a different look.. you do not have to buy a Sony stereo you can splice in any radio. I think the plug is for older sony radios.. i bought a pioneer and spliced..

2009 Harley Davidson Street Glide
Needed to replace the factory radio due to random loss of sound through speakers. The install took 1hr tops, easy, and well worth the investment. I paired it with a Sony Head unit and all handle bar controls remain the same. Love it.

Retro Radio Kit
