Tactical Pen Self Defense Pen with Emergency Glass Breaker Survival Tool Black Ballpoint Pen

I bought this pen expecting to replace the guts with a Fisher Space pen refill, but the cartridges that came with it are fantastic! They write very smoothly and the color is very nice. I was very pleasantly surprised. The pen is heavy and quite substantial. The refills are a little difficult to replace because the plastic end fits inside the top part of the pen very tightly and it feels like you're going to break it the first time you try to pull it out. You also have to push the new one in quite forcefully to get it to seat, but I think that's evident of nice, tight tolerances.I have read many reports of the pen's mechanism failing but mine seems to be smooth and reliable. Only time will tell. First impressions though are very good!

Excellent product at a great price. This is identical to the Sminikar tactical pen, which I bought and lost. So I bought this one, then found my lost pen. So now I have two. Nice.Heavy duty rugged pen. Love it. I have a hard time picturing how this pen could break, short of being run over by a tank.I also bought some gel ink refills which I really like.

Not only does it write amazingly, but it is definitely a durable and effective defensive weapon or emergency glass breaker too if I need to use it (I hope I never need to use it, but in my profession, it never hurts to have something on hand to protect oneself. The multi-tool for the wallet is really awesome too and fits perfectly in my wallet, and it is heavy and sharp so I can use it to protect myself or escape some far-fetched situation where I am tied up and need to cut free. I watch too many TV movies, but it never hurts to be safe. A great gift for anyone!

The first one I bought was so nice I ordered three more for gifts. Nicely made with some weight. Pen twists open and is easy to write with. The metal card and case fit well in my wallet. I touched up the knife edge so it could chisel the edge of some pine and sawed with it. It comes in a nice presentation style all black box. The glass breaker point is not dull and would no doubt be handy.

This "pen" isn't what you should be using as a pen. It's much much thicker than your average pen. The glass cutter does cut skin. It's like a pen with a very sharp object at the top, which makes reaching for this pen sometimes painful and impractical. However, you pay for what you ask for, so I won't give it the lowest review. It still writes and it writes well and with replacements. One of the big problems of this pen is that the back cap keeps unscrewing. It has fallen multiple times until I lost it. I lost the glass cutter. TBH, it's better without he glass cutter, but because it doesn't have the cutter, it's just this pen with a backing missing.

Heavy pen. Bought it for my wife and just left it on my desk for her to find, because that's how she is. She took the bait and stole my pen, then a couple days later she asked me why the F it was so sharp on the back. Taught her how to use it, explained it, and gave her the multi-tool then. She's a fan. I'll stick to my .45, but I might buy another to stick in my Jeep just in case.

I just got this yesterday and it "broke" today. The pen does not come out when I twist the barrel and it is extremely difficult to take apart to fix. As a matter of fact, it's impossible to open without putting pliers on it and since its new and I'm retuning it, I don't want to mar it up with pliers so Im not even going to try. I shouldn't have to, its new!
