SO BRIGHT
*Update* At some point while riding without the light on, but the mount still attached to the bike, the part of the mount that actually holds the light on fell off. It's a tiny piece of plastic so I didn't even notice it. Fenix's customer support was quick to respond, but didn't offer to replace the part or mount. I ended up having to buy a new mount for $15.This light is spectacular! It's about as bright as the headlights on my car (narrower beam) and the battery lasts way longer than I was expecting.I did a midnight ride up Mt. Saint Helens and used this on its lowest setting on the way up and the highest setting on the way down, and it was flawless. Didn't even dip one bar of battery on the way up, and it was still half full by the time I got back to the car. 20-ish mile ride, maybe 3 hours with the light on.The beam is annoying on my drop handlebars as it picks up the drops and I get weird shadows with it, but it's still super bright.I think the mounting bracket could be a bit larger to accommodate for modern bars that are wider, or have lots of cables on them (particularly on the drop bar), but it works just fine.Very impressed with this light, the mounting clip is really easy to clip on and off so I can take it into the bar or house when I'm not on the bike. And the adjustments left to right are solid.Highly recommend spending the money on this light if you ride at night and want to see and be seen.

Wide bright light!
The factory light in my e-bike is a bright spot. This Fenix has the 100 degree wide flood. The two together perform just as an automobile; high and low beam. The Fenix alone is Fantastic on the high setting. My night rides don’t last more than four hours so l’ve never exhausted the battery. The quick snap removal is nice. Now on dog walks or working where a light is needed l slip it into an old knife case and carry it on my belt as my primary flashlight.

Best bike light I've seen
I love all the brightness settings. I love the battery life. Very sturdy, with a great clamp. It can be removed, and used as a flashlight easily. Unlike most lights on Amazon, it doesn't advertise with a bogus number of lumens. If you want one of the best lights for your bike. This is well worth the price.

For the moments that it works, it's great. But it spontaneously cuts out.
I bought this light May 2022. From the start, it cut out. Unfortunately, it got put away in a house move so missed the warranty window. When I re-found it, I tried using it again. It is a great light when it works...but when it suddenly cuts out, usually a the worst possible moment...it's scary. The batter indicator seems unhelpful, too. Even when fully charged, the batter level is pretty random. I have only used the stock battery that it came with so my issues with it are not related to others who claim the cutting out is due to using the wrong type of battery.I would love for it to work. Externally, it seems very well built and the beam is good (when it works). I have even considered trying one of the other Fenix models...but am afraid of another expensive mistake.

Almost perfect :(
The construction, output and battery life are better than any other bike light. I wanted to give it 5 stars but the 100 degree wide angle is too wide. It illuminates your tires, and cables really well, but does not project down the road enough. Plus the LED battery indicator flashing green at 85%. It's distracting. Flash at me when you're at 10% not 85%. Or just show a simple green, orange, red progression, no flashing.

Well designed
I have a troubled history with bike headlights. They are either so flimsy that they break after a year or two, or the battery stops holding a charge and I have to replace the whole unit. This Fenix BC26R has excellent fit & finish and looks like it will hold up to daily riding. The replaceable battery is an excellent idea. The beam is bright on "high" (one setting below the brightest: "boost") and even has lenses on the sides to increase my visibility from those directions. I have spent three times as much for lights that aren't as good. I'm very happy with this purchase.

excellent customer service
I've dropped this light at speed onto asphalt several times on accident and you can barely even tell. Support was extremely responsive and went above and beyond the one time I had questions about accessories. The only bike light brand I recommend with a passion.

You want the best? Get this!
Fenix make high quality flashlights. This bike light is top notch quality, useful brightness levels, and comes with a massive 21700 5000mAh battery for crazy long runtimes.I cycled at night and only need 600 lumens. It uses approximately 30% per hour at that level. The battery indicator is on the entire time you’re riding, super helpful.
