Works just fine on my SXP Shadow Defender (2022). The sticky piece that goes on the firearm did start to come off after about a week like some other reviews had said. So…the adhesive isn’t the best (even cleaned in alcohol before applying), but 50 cents worth if 3M tape fixed that real quick. No biggie. Works great now.

I added this to my home defense tactical shotgun. Nice quality and gets the job done of having additional shells readily available...

Works great but over time I've noticed the adhesive is too weak to really hold the product on the metal of the shotgun when fully loaded with shells. It tries to curl up and peel off when you load dhells into it.

A complete loading of shells fit into it nicely, no problem there. Then I carefully wiped the shotty clean and then firmly pressed the loaded item onto the shotty, which I leaned upright into a bedroom corner. Came back two days later and the loaded item was laying on the floor by the shotty. Into the trash it went!

First shot, 4 shells "jumped" out, nice design concept, jus need better/stronger material to hold shells in. Honestly a waste of money in my opinion

It works okay for now. This could be better to be honest, but I will run it for a while. The shell carrier part itself is pretty good quality and the elastic is good. It retains the shells nicely. The real problem is the hook and loop (Velcro) attachment It came out of the package just slightly too big for the Winchester SXP that it is advertised for. The length is perfect, but the edges along the width were about 1/4 inch too long on each side. I trimmed it, and it was not an issue. It fit perfectly after the extra material was trimmed off. I also thing the Velcro could have been stronger. It curls at the ends when there are shells inserted in the carrier. Another weak point is the sticky glue side. As soon as i put it on I noticed that the corners were curling slightly. That shouldn't be happening from the moment I start. Maybe I would expect that later on down the road using this but...seriously as soon as i put it on my gun it curled up on the corner. It is strong enough to hold the shell carrier on the gun so ill keep it for now. I ripped off the carrier quickly a few times to see how it would hold up and it was fine. All in all, I will keep it on for a while. Its too hard to find accessories for the SXP to complain too much.

Wonderful concept but the adhesive for the actual holder will not stick onto the gun making it unstable when firing.
