Cast Iron Tattoo Machine Liner Shader Gun DM-13.

9 year tattoo artist 100% not the item I ordered. I ordered the ones with the guillotine vice frames just for parts to build off of so I ordered 3 of them. Even though they were not the ones I ordered i was pleasantly surprised with the ones I received. I cut the coil covering off and found one really well tightly wound coil and one that was ok it was a little loose wound. I tightened the rear spring and front contact mount and rear contact mount and ran it the way it sits and to my surprise it ran 138hz at 6.1 volts with 0 errors I may actually use one the way it sits minus changing the spring setup and I'll put a speed bar on it and use it as a liner to run probably up to a 7 needle group. The other two I am gonna strip down and replace all the parts I wouldn't recommend it as a packer because the frame is a little light but as a shader or liner for sure. So just know u will not get the one in the picture but u will be getting a damn good machine for the price and with a small amount of work will run as well as a $250 machine

The machine was delivered on time and works great but that was only after I spent two hours adjusting the armature bar and the contact screw. When I opened the package the armature was still attached to the machine but was turned so far away from the coils that the only way to fix was to totally remove it and then re-install it straight. Then I had to re-position the contact screw because the head of the screw was turned all the way down against the spring on the armature bar. After fixing all the problems from shipping the machine ran well for the price.

I could have just got the odd bad one,but having never ordered from this company before, I can't tell.I can tell you this,their Q.C. needs to step it up a notch.I understand that it is not a high priced machine but the one I received dose not even qualify for a half-ass back up.I have been tattooing for over 20 years and my standard machines are Stan Moskowitz customs but I do like to have a dozen or so on hand.This one,sadly dose not make the cut.On the off chance you could get it tuned and drilling properly,I don't think it would last very long or lay in anything very smooth.Sorry guys,like I said maybe I just got the odd bad one but I don't think I would buy another one. I bought this machine for the frame only. All the screws are steel and the frame is a nice weight. I took the coils off and replace them with welker coils, and replaced the springs with .18g springs. If you do this, this machine will operate like a liner machine from workhorse irons or welker machines. I def. think I got exactly what i was wanting.

this tattoo machine want near the one I ordered, it was a piece of crap,the only reason I ordered it was to finish out a prepaid credit card, the machine I got was made out of plastic or who knows it didn't even have a yoke on it to get some good contacts. Amazon or who ever needs to get it together on the advertising such as needles machines, and ect i've been shopping with amazon for around three years and they are getting ready to loose me as a customer in the tattoo industry, because there are some real professional co.'s. out there that's got it together. amazon would be good for other things like bikes ,elect. and ect

Have not used this gun yet, however when it arrived it needed both the coils and main spring tightened, IDK maybe the mail guys were throwing it around, always check your equipment prior to use to avoid disaster mid tatt

My machine came with a liner spring as it should.(In my opinion) These are true 10-wrap coils that handle higher voltage,though it's not necessary. Machine runs at a respectable 140-ish hz,good enough to be a damn decent fast liner,with the power to back it up. Love the pinch vice,copper contact screw,it's relative light weight,and good balance. I must admit a certain surprise at the overall quality,which rivals machines at 20 or even 30 times the price! Doesn't come with a warranty,but for the money,you can buy 20 or 30 of these,and be set for years. In fact,I think I'll do that right now...

Delivered very quickly. Tho ive ordered machiens from these guys with great deals on machiens. This one realy let me down. After 2 hrs of tinkering I've got it almost usable. Might be alright as a shader. Just not very smooth or consistant. Update:11/26/12. This past weekend as I tried to make the gun useable with a new set of springs I discovered that the frame is very soft. Completly stripped the backspring screw hole. Stipped the frame of a couple usable parts and the coils and scrappp the rest
