Sensachew Pencil Topper (Green) - 3 Pack

My son's kindergarten teacher recommended this. This works very well for her son. My son loves it, who bites almost everything. Maybe he likes so much is the problem. He bites this tube so much, it lasts only a few days. He chews small pieces in his mouth. He mostly spits small pieces out, but I am worry he swallows them or not. I am also worry, the material is not really toxic or not. And another bad thing is because saliva stays inside of the tube, you may have to wash each time, otherwise, it smells.

2 of my kids chew their pencils and clothes at school so I thought this might help without attracting too much attention. Hard to get on, wears down quickly, not great. That said, I haven't found a pencil product that is better. Going away from the pencil products though, Chewy Tubes do a great job of addressing these issues--they are obvious though.

Overall work well on the pencil. Our child chewed through them in a single setting, though. Not the best option for very active chewers.

My son chew a hole through them pretty quick.

I bought these for my son to take to school for obvious reasons. His teacher emailed me to let me know he chewed all 3 into tiny pieces the first day. I bought a T-shaped Chewey Tube and stuck it on top of a pencil and he's been using that for over a month with no breakage. These were an absolute waste of money.

Purchased for use with autistic kids who bite clothing, themselves, others, etc. Shredded! Pieces all over the floor, probably pieces swallowed! Not great for a serious biter!

This is just an open straw-like pencil topper. It fills up with saliva and is very messy. I tried hot gluing and melting one end but it wouldn't stay sealed. I threw them away and would not recommend them to anyone. There is another style available which has a closed end.

They should state in the description that they are open at the top....haven't used them because of that.
