Herbs brand is the only brand that I know of that has kept the classic formula from the 90’s, so these are always a must buy.

First of all, I received them the plastic jar was not damaged, leaking, or open. The lid was sealed, but not very tight. (Amazon, put some tape across the lid to keep it closed).These are definitely not the old Pemrose Sausages but they were okay. Taste is always going to in the mouth of the beholder. In other words, some will find these good, some will find them not so good and others will just down right hate them.These kind of remind me of the Big Mamas Sausages. At first I was not crazy about them but after eating a few, they kind of grown on me. I wrap a couple in a paper towel and place them in the microwave and heat them up, which gets rid of some of the fat in them,.Also, the yellow stuff some said was inside the jar is just fat that bleeds out of the sausages. I had the same experience with the Pemrose Sausages a few times in the past, not an issue. But come on, these things are not really healthy for you. They're full of cholesterol, fats and sodium.I would buy again, yes even though they're not a healthy food...yep, bad me!EDIT: April 14, 2024. Purchased This a second time and it came wrapped in plastic shrink wrapping. All was good, except the price went up $8.00Would I buy again, yes only if the price goes back down!!!'2ND EDIT: Purchased them for a third time...again, bad me. I must be lucky "so far". All three times the plastic jars were sealed and no fluid leaks noticed. The first time order it was received in an over sized box with no packing but had tape over the lid. The second time the jar was wrapped in shrink plastic. This last time it was $28.34, no tape, shrink wrap and little packing, but again was sealed.

I grew up in the 80's -90's always grabbed a Hot Mama or 3 when at a convenience store. These while smaller and having a different texture. Hit the nail on the head, it's been 10+ years since these have been stocked in my area. Been skeptical for a while on ordering. Glad I did!! Love these.

They taste pretty good. Hey Sonic burrito guy.. If you're reading this the seal is in the lid itself. So it does have a seal it's just not the peal style.

These sausages taste great, but they’re extremely vinegary. Most sausages are naturally pickled. These things are made with vinegar in the sausages. So they’re completely pickled through, causing an overpowering vinegar flavor. They hurt my stomach, I will not be buying again.
