I am just beginning doing pottery, and needed a height adjustable stationary chair because the traditional pottery stools absolutely kill my back. I was looking around for one of these, and the cheapest I found was $50. I already had an unused , armless, office chair, and when I saw these on Amazon, it seemed the perfect solution to my dilemma. I was a little nervous buying them without knowing if they would fit, but I needn’t have worried. They fit perfectly, and for $11.99, I now have the perfect potter’s chair!Great quality for the price, and very stable.

These were perfect. Just don't plan on them scooting.

I needed to lose 1.5inches on my computer chair, which meant getting rid of the wheels as mine were the smallest wheels they make.So, I sacrificed rolling around for having to scoot my chair a bit. I have hard floors, so it's not an issue, and the casters don't mark the floors or damage them if I do adjust. On carpet, this chair isn't going to move.Totally worth it as it dropped my chair height to the level I needed to keep my shoulders from having to sit in the "shrug" up position when I'm using my computer (short torso, long legs... it's a pain finding desks and chairs that work together without causing pain).

I would not recommend these for solid floors or for a solid type chair mat as once they were installed my chair would not sit evenly. I had to pad the glides, much like adding a match book to a table that rocks from side to side in a restaurant. They do however seem solid but the fact that something about them made the chair wobble from side to side knocked them down to 3 stars for me. I doubt the same problem would be present on a carpeted floor though as the carpet would probably absorb the unevenness.

I have a wheeled office chair on a hardwood floor, and I've nearly fallen when the chair slipped back unexpectedly, so to save these 80+ year old bones, I needed to subdue the chair's quick motions. I didn't know such a product existed, and I found them quite by accident.They will slide on the hardwood flooring as needed--but not so much! These may help you too!

Fit perfect in the drafting chair I bought. Looks good and works great! These are sturdy and just enough grip but are smooth on the bottom so not too much gripI searched forever for a chair without wheels like an idiot before finding these. Now I got the chair I wanted.

I do not like it for my study chair to move around and ordered this to solve the problem. Easy to install and works as expected.
