Needed a gasket seal for my camp chef smoker, it did not come with one at all and had a considerable gap around the lid, I choose this gasket for the thickness and it was wide enough I thought it would make a good seal, cleaned both the lid and smoker with alcohol where the gasket would go and it stuck like glue, with the gasket on the smoker and on the lid it made a great seal! Not only did it seal it up for a better smoke, it made the temp inside the smoker be able to stay more consistent and now I can smoke when it’s windy without my temp getting sucked out! Great product so far!

Finally gave the heat control I was looking for with my weber kettle. Followed instructions and at least 10 cooks later it is still going strong. I have a side tables, utensil hangers and a lid hanger and this solved all my leakage and temp control problems.

This product was what I used when building a UDS. At that time it was great.That is why I ordered it to seal up some small leaks on my offset smoker.It started well, but less than halfway thru the peel off backing started pulling about half the thickness of the gasket off with it.It was a spring day in South Carolina, so it should not have been overheated in the delivery vehicle.I started working from the opposite end, and it got enough to finish the job, but no extra.If I had much of a leak or building another smoker I would have needed at least one more roll.
