Epic All Natural Meat Bar, 100% Grass Fed, Bison, Variety Sampler Pack, 1.5 ounce bar, 12 count

One of the worst jerky snacks I've ever tried. It's tough to get down most of them and I should be enjoying my snack, not trying to focus on choking it down and not vomiting. Tastes like I should be eating catfood. I've tried an Epic bar in the past from the store and it wasn't so great, so I thought I'd try to variety pack to see if I just got a bad apple - Nope. All of it is disgusting. This coming from a guy who has no problems eating weird food like chicken intestine, liver, feet, and eats anything unique while traveling to foreign countries. When I think this is bad...you should take heed.

These are great. I have Celiac disease and am allergic to oats, eggs, mac and chia, with a mild allergy to almonds...which rules out almost every energy or snack bar. I have them stashed in my car, office, purse and at home.

Strangely, I think the venison and chicken ones are the best. Did not expect that. If you have ever eaten an MRE, it's impossible to not draw a connection. That said, if you've ever eaten an MRE, you will resent the fact that these were not included in your MREs. These are all a little bit bland, but I am one of those jerks who puts hot sauce on everything so my opinion is kind of meaningless there. I will continue buying. They're good work snacks. Makes a late lunch seem less problematic because these actually taste like food. You can avoid that I-only-ate-a-granola-bar crankiness.

I bought the variety pack thinking that it may be a good opportunity to try out some options because eating the same protein bar continuously can get unappealing. The problem is with the exception of 2 flavors most of the flavors or sort of disgusting. You could chalk it up to personal preference but several people in my household taste tested them and we can unanimously say if you have a preferred Epic meat bar flavor stick to it and dont buy the variety pack.

Overall they are a good product, but the texture is not what you expect and can take some getting use to.

Don't know what they were going for here but there is a weird mix of ingredients that just does not mesh and in fact tastes terrible. I expected these to be somewhat like jerky. They are not at all like jerky and in fact they don't even remotely taste like any sort of meat I have ever eaten. Save your money, trust me, you do not want to attempt to eat these. I tried giving one to my dog and he ran away from my house for three days.

On the upside, all of these packages arrived just fine. No spoilage/packaging issues that others have indicated. And all were tasty.But I do have one problem. The picture of the assortment includes salmon. The actual shipped goods, and to be fair the description, does not. That's pretty misleading.
