Latest NIV text
The more I see of this edition, the better I like it. At first glance, there aren't many changes from the older NIV text; and I like what I have seen. Today I found in Ephesians 4:15, "...speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ." Now this is easier to grasp than the older translation. And in Ephesians 5:2 I love "walk in the way of love" -- a felicity you won't find in the old text. The helps look good, especially for people who are not familiar with the Bible. And avoiding the use of male pronouns for both genders is, on the whole, a good idea. The language is changing, whether we like it or not, and there is no point in giving needless offense. The paper is cheap, but at this price what do we expect?(August 2, 2013) I continue to notice little improvements that reflect careful thought: in Romans 8:9 we now have "in the realm of the flesh"; in Romans 10:4 "Christ is the culmination of the law". This is fine work.

Pretty Nice NT to Give to New Believers!
I like this NIV New Testament - it was cheap (bought 12) and lightweight etc. Being New International Version (NIV) makes it particularly appealing to be a Bible for giving away - to new believers, homeless etcThe only thing I was surprised by was that there weren't two columns per page - the text goes all the way across the page. I think that makes it a bit less poignant as a Bible - but it's still got lots of value. What I'm going to try to do is Highlight Key Verses so at least those stand out (are poignant). My ideal New Testament for Giving would already have highlighted key verses - but I know that'd cost aplenty. So for now I'm satisfied with this good - not great - giveaway Bible.

Perfect for my wife's Bible study with our sight-impaired neighbor
My wife had me order two of these for a Bible study she is doing with our sight-impaired neighbor. The print size is perfect for our neighbor. I ordered two copies so that my wife would be able to be on the same page as our neighbor during the study. Consider that when doing a Bible study with someone who uses or needs to use a a large print Bible. Maybe you need to get a large print Bible as well so you can be on the same page especially if you are trying to evangelize the other person as this might make the other person more comfortable. Do you REALLY need all those study notes and references if you are using another book as your source study book and using the Bible to back up the source book?

Basic Bible - great to keep in my car or hand out
I have several Bible apps I use daily but sometimes I just want to read in print. I am keeping this in my car in case I ever have an opportunity to offer it to someone. In the meantime, I love to read the Gospels and Paul's letters when I'm waiting for someone. Print size is good for my eyes and quality just fine. Good value for the price.

Great for bad eyes
Ordered a bunch of these copies for a friend's gift baskets to the elderly. They are a nice print size which suprised us. The NIV us a nice, interdenominational version and easy to read. The cost is perfect large orders. I highly recommend for study groups and elder care centers. I have glaucoma (a rare form) that makes things a little hard to see sometimes and I found these an easy read even in dark light.

+12 font, one column, no topics headers. Great for New Testament reading!
I highly recommend. The font is large and legible. It is single column with paragraphs. The price is quite low. Wonderfully there are no topic headers within the text so it makes for a nice unfiltered reading experience with the New Testament. I know the idea is to be an inexpensive outreach Bible; however, this would be a great format for me with more durable materials. I originally bought 10 to give to friends but it has become my preferred edition for reading the New Testament. 5 stars.

QUITE EASY TO READ AND WELL MADE
I like this NIV large print New Testament. It is light weight and quite easy to read; darker print would make it even better. Other reviewers commented that it was printed on newsprint paper, but I think it is better quallity than that. It is also made well and should last anyone a long time.

Not really large print
In general, it fulfills its purpose - it's the New Testament only of the Bible, in paperback form, and less than two quid. However, the print is around 12 point whereas "large print" is normally defined as between 14 and 16 point. The print in this book is larger than most ordinary Bibles, but that's because the print in them tends to be quite small compared to your average book.So bear this in mind if you are actually looking for a large print Bible.Another thing to note is that the text is printed straight across the page, not in two columns like most Bibles. And there are no "subject headings" like you get in other Bibles (like "Jesus calms the storm", "Saul's conversion" etc), making quick look-ups and navigation a little more difficult. However, if you are looking for a New Testament only Bible, with *slightly* larger text than normal, this book would be okay.

It's ideal when used with my Kindle
When reading a study book, it often gives reference to the Holy Bible and mostly in the New Testament. I have a pair of glasses that I use for TV and my Kindle with the font set at a nice size. However, when I open my Bible, the text is always of a smaller size and I have to change my glasses. This Holy Bible has print about the same size as my Kindle, so I can keep the same glasses on. It is also a nice size and weight. It's worth noting that I often scan book pages into my Kindle as I don't always want to take a book away from home. This Holy Bible and my Kindle make a useful pair of study tools. Altogether a good buy for me.

What did they do this for?
The use of very thing paper makes it difficult to actually read a page when you can see the shapes of the previous page's print showing through. How can this be used for people with impaired eyesight. The margins just about exist. It's cramped and difficult to read. Waste of money... which is a shame when the content is so important.

Excellent Product, - Excellent Value!
I have found this New Testament very useful. I'm not partially sighted or anything but have reached the age where is less than perfect light I find it harder work to read more than a few sentences. This edition has larger print so I can read it with ease. It is also a very good translation. It is also small enough and light enough to carry around and pop in my bag when I go to work (to read in my break!) - THANK YOU BIBLICA FOR PRODUCING IT!!!!!

Not what it said on the tin!
It was a disappointment because it was not large print but small print, and it was for use by someone elderly with poor eye sight. I will keep it for other use, but it did not fulfill its description. I have been able to acquire excellent large print Gospels from the Torch Trust who provide books for those with limited or no sight.
