While I can't eat this (I'm diabetic), my hubby loves it and has it every 3 days for breakfast. It definitely smells like fresh strawberries.

Please make the burps go away!!!
I like RBC so I was eager to try the apple/strawberry flavor.When I first opened the package, there was this delicious aroma of apples but it was quickly and subtly followed by another small that had a less than pleasant twang. This odor continues throughout the eating process and unfortunately, for several hours afterward. For some reason, this product lingers and lingers in both taste and smell as I frequently burb it.I can eat almost anything as long as it doesn't linger in an unpleasant way. It's not as bad as garlic but I currently prefer the taste of a bismuth solution (Peptol Bismol) over the cereal.I THINK it's the strawberry flavor that doesn't agree with me. If it would've been limited to just the apple flavor, I think it would be a lot better.I see I am the only negative opinion at present. Obviously the odor doesn't bother some people and they're not experiencing GI upset

Best Raisin Bran anywhere!
I LOVE this cereal. Grew up on Raisin Bran and this is by far my favorite!! I am sooooooo bummed I can not find it in the grocery store any more! I do not find and have never found an odor about the box. The reviewer must have gotten a dud box somehow. I hope the renewed Apple Strawberry has not changed from this!
