This Pearly braid out glaze is awesome! I used this product for a wash and go. After having clarified my hair with shampoo and deep conditioning, I applied this glaze all throughout my hair in small sections. I then sat under the hooded dryer for an hour to set the style. My type 4b to 4c hair absolutely loved this product. I received maximum definition, great hold and very good moisture, especially considering I did not use a leave in conditioner. I highly recommend this glaze, and will definitely be purchasing again and again!

Have been using this for 3yrs now, hope it doesn’t get discontinued. I use it after a wash and daily use on my hair and young child. Keeps it soft.

ok, so i bought this product and the first order was damaged but the seller quickly replaced the item once discovered. This means that they care about what the consumer has to say. For the smell, this is really nice and I would say it is worth 4 stars in my book. On hydration, I would say 3 stars. Overall, I have given this product 4 stars.This product worked better than I expected and I even thought it would work. I have tried other products and they have not given me the definition that I have obtained with this product in a basic two strand twist. And I mean basic as I'm not an expert on this natural hair stuff. Still on my natural hair growth path and trial and error is practically the standard for me at the moment. The reason I gave 3 stars on humidity is that I discovered that my hair, although very defined with curl, felt a little hard and crunchy to the touch. Maybe if I had bought and used one of the other products along with this it would have been better... I don't know. But I still felt the need to give them 4 stars because the photo I posted was after 5 days of people. Exactly 5 days! And I didn't do anything special. Apart frm using satine cap at bed time, which I purchased here on Amazon. See my review if interested. And I didn't oil my hair or at bed time... Yes I know, not good. So for all these reason, I gave them 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Also the price. It's a bit pricy.But I would say this, I certainly wouldn't refuse the opportunity to try the entire product line in the future but for now a little at a time.

This is essentially a lighter, more spreadable version of shea butter, which is the primary ingredient. There's no miracle here, in my opinion. The product does not contain water, therefore it is NOT moisturizing on its own. You can, as with any other oil-based product, put water on your hair and use this to help seal that moisture in for 24 hours or so. During that time, yes, your hair will be soft.The ingredients are all natural, which is a plus, and there's no nasty smell. I consider this a basic sealer that is lighter and less tacky-feeling than pure shea butter. The price is reasonable, so it's fine for that purpose.If you're experiencing a hair dryness/breakage crisis, this is not going to solve it single-handedly so I wouldn't tell anyone to run out and buy this. You need to do your deep-conditioning, your resting hairdos, have a great detangling conditioner and non-ragged comb, etc.

I used the Ancient Egyptian Anti-Breakage Twisting Gel. It feels like it soaks into the hair and does not stay wet.. but then creates some kind of hold... it is unlike other products I've used... I'm glad I found this one because it did stop breakage... I added leave in conditioner to the ends of our twist for added moisture after twisting... I recommend for breakage.

Beautiful on my daughters natural hair and defines her curls with a lovely shine.I gave 3 stars because of the white residue left on the hair once the hair has dried which is not very pleasurable
