An Illustrated History of Ghosts

Fantastic paranormal fun!
I've got a shelf (large shelf) full of books on the paranormal, academic, ghost stories of folklore, the works. This is an interesting new addition and it has it's own unique place between the rest. Adam Allsuch Boardman has explored the world of ghosts in this volume in a visual and anecdotal manner that I don't think I've seen. His gorgeous graphic illustrations of which there are many, make his guide to the afterlife fun like no other. I'd honestly fill my office with his art if I had access and the wallet to make it happen. If you are interested in a light-reading approach to the paranormal, you may need no other book. It covers the gamut. I highly recommend this book for the curious and experienced alike. Get it now.

Super fun book!
Cool book to have if you want a fun history book that isn’t too child-like

Very Disappointing
I bought this book in good faith to give to a relative with a genuine interest in the supernatural. I was very disappointed to find that it appeared to be possibly a children's book full of absurd illustrations and trite tongue-in-cheek text - and I am rather surprised at the other apparently glowing reviews. I'd avoid it if you, or anyone else you might gift it to, seriously wishes to read about feasible hauntings and manifestations. Unfortunately, unable to return the item due to illness so it has nonetheless been wrapped and will be given with somewhat shamefaced apologies.
