No brainer. Can play the game anywhere with these bases. I bought them after the included spikes broke (after many, many, many rounds). I would not go back to the spikes. Just get these if you're buying the base set.

Get these so you don't have to worry about putting stakes in the ground
I didn't want to worry about trying to put stakes into the ground so I got these bases. Using these makes it a breeze to set up the game and would also allow you to use the game on a driveway or other hard surface.

Great and must have stands for bottle bash
These stands are a MUST for the bottle bash game! We love the game but I think you definitely need these stands for the poles!

So much fun
we have a blast with this game. It is basic, easy to set up and understand and easily transported. Doesn't hurt that the staff at Poelish are great.

Good product - try sand
Pretty solid, allows you to play on surfaces other than grass. I actually still use it in the grass because it is sturdier than the spikes the game comes with.One complaint I have is that the bases will still slide. This is with the base filled entirely with water. I'm not sure if sand would weigh it down more effectively.Overall, they're worth buying because they're more effective in all scenarios than the standard issues spikes.

Love this game
This is one of my favorite games to play while drinking. And you get a heck of a leg workout to. These based work as intended when you don't have a soft surface to use the steaks. Just gotta fill with sand or water before you take wherever you're going with these

Nice addition to take game to concrete
Excellent addition to an already great game. The best part about this is that it fits in the carry bag. Also there are 2 x cup-holders. Nice product and nice price.

A must have
Need to have these with the Poleish horseshoe game to keep the game more stable. Allows you to play anywhere and keeps the poles upright instead of always having to stand them back up as when using the spikes that come included.
