Strymon Bluesky V.1 Reverb Guitar Effects Pedal

The Blue Sky finds a nice balance of delayed reverb effects.The Blue Sky comes in 2 versions, the 5 knob V1, or the 6 knob V2. Both versions will provide pretty much anything you need for stage work. I prefer the Blue Sky’s big cousin the Big Sky for my home studio use. It has more features than the Blue Sky but is not quite as friendly for quick stage use.In conclusion, you’re here, you know Strymon. The Blue Sky is a great versatile pedal that will give you all the effects you’re looking for.

Great reverb effect

I’m not sure which countries the other reviewers are in, but this specific Blue Sky pedal listing is being sold from a vendor in Japan and so you’re paying import fees and other additional costs on top of the pedals base price, which is why it’s so much higher than MSRP. If you’re a US buyer purchasing this from a US vendor, it’s $299. It’s an amazing pedal with a lot of value. You can essentially have two reverbs on tap by utilizing the pedals favorite preset feature and it covers quite a bit of ground for what it is. If you’re not a fan of the sound, you’re in the golden age of stomp boxes; go buy one that suits your tastes/needs. And as for critiquing the components of the pedal, I am not sure that holds much sway because the overwhelming majority of electric guitar tech is relying technology from the 50s and 60s so why is Strymon worse than other manufacturers who mark up their products for much higher. This is a good value and is very well designed regardless of when the components are invented. If you want to bargain hunt, you can find used ones on Reverb for $230. Do yourself a favor and try one out - I’ve had one for several months and use it live and can say it’s one of the best purchase I’ve made for my board.

The power supply doesn't work. I connected the pedal up to another 9v power supply and the pedal does work. So, send me a new power supply and I'll return this one. Thank you.

PROs-Studio quality reverb sounds-A couple additional dials to adjust the tone of the effect itself as opposed to just the typical delay/mix knobs (huge plus)-One preset, which is unheard of for pedals of that size-As alluded, nice compact size so it fits nicely on my board-Shimmer (kinda like a P.O.G.), which is a super awesome bonus effectCONS-Doesn't run on my board's 9v system so I have to wire up its own dedicated PS-Pricey. If you can stomach the Big Sky, go for it and don't look back. However, the Blue Sky is still worth the coin IMO. The price on Amazon is ridiculous, though; so find an online retailer dedicated to music gear.

I am using this Reverb unit for my Vocals. It gives me this studio-like, almost endless reverb you hear on the Titanic song with Celine Dion. The unit lets me store 1 setting, which I use for this long reverb. The rest I adjust individually using the buttons. A fabulous unit!I also have the El Capistan for my guitar. I've had many delays and echo units in my 40 year career as a musician, but this one is my favorite!

ネット上での評判を見て興味を持ち、購入してみました。その性能はネット上でいくらでも確認できますので、個人的な感想を述べます。エフェクターを購入するのは20年以上ぶりですが、その完成度の高さに驚愕しました。個人的に従来のエフェクターに持っている感覚とは別物です。音を加工すると言うよりは、すでに別のインターフェイスになっていると感じます。このペダルだから出来ること、これじゃないと出来ないことがあります。Strymonの他の製品は未体験ですが、総じて高評価な理由がわかりました。音の余白の多い、弾き語り系の方には最高の空間ペダルです。

いやらしくなく、落ち着く音が聴けますね。ほんと自然にリバーブかけたい方にオススメしたいです！
