I bought this because my other dental pick on the left and the picture I dropped it one too many times on the ground and the tip snapped off. This one is very similar, but it is thinner or the other one was little bit thicker and a little bit easier to hold. The dental pics are essential for cleaning underneath the gum line and getting rid of black that is hardened and turned into calculus which irritates the gums. The most important thing is don’t overdo it. I would not use it more than once a week at the most and don’t get too aggressive because you can damage your teeth. I also highly recommend the pic tool that has a rubber tip. That’s what I use every night and I supplement that with this.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Threw it away. It was dull on the end. Not sharp on either end. Does not clean teeth. Buyer beware Functionality: None Ease of cleaning: does not work
