The Complete Book of US Presidents

I've been an avid student of presidential history since I was in elementary school, still read everything I can to this day. Since our 11 year old grandson has been with us during this pandemic, I decided it was a perfect time to introduce him to the presidents. I ordered this and his assignment is minimum one hour reading a day so he can put down the electronic game controller once a day and do some real learning. This book has been perfect for that purpose and we spend a few minutes discussing each president over dinner. I'm so glad I can hand this interest down to him. The place we'll stop is after Obama. He already knows we have no interest in the current occupant of the White House. He was literally born the night Barack Obama was announced as our next president, we call him our "Obama baby"'. So very high marks to this book as a learning tool for your kids/grandkids or for you personally if you want some context before picking up more detailed writings on individual presidents. I love the information it gives me about the first President of the United States to the 45th President. The author has a good reputation too. I highly recommend this book most especially in today's confusing world.

If I could give zero less than zero, I would. So on with the review, for lack of a better word... I the seller as to the accuracy of the info within this book . I asked is it Fiction or Non Fiction, or in layman terms Fact or Not. I was told it was "an actual account of events & is NON FICTIONAL". To date, this book & 7 others I researched & or viewed, are all absolute OPINION based & should be listed as 100% FICTIONAL, PERIOD! The lies I was taught in school, to my dismay, was, @ best disturbing enough. This, & the other books, are at least 80% (I'm being very generous with that #) opinion based & therefore useless as to any account of what transpired in office, starting around 1992 when it became blatantly obvious, forward. I say this with absolute confidence from my own research and witnessing. The 11 President's that have held office in my 53 years on this earth, I diligently made every effort to learn all I could absorb (age appropriate) Either by reseaching & or witnessing with my own eyes & ears, their time, acts, speeches, or & state of the unions, etc. available to find. Out of 11 Presidents, I can only regurgitate information I was taught in school (what a joke) for 4. LBJ, Nixon, & Ford's & the 1st half of Carter's term, as I was still really young. However, from the last of Carter's term, through Trump, I researched everything I could get my hands on & witness all I was able, the good, the bad & the ugly, for all the remaining 7. When my oldest child was in 3rd or 4th, I became aware that the teaching of history had not been updated or corrected, but was getting worse! Then MSM ampt it up to marathon status,, took a "tight S curve" with a side if wrong turn to crazy town. Which in my, & many others opinion has ultimately caused the extinction of journalism/reporting as we knew it, as it was designed & by definition to be. Instead it mutated into the, useless, opinion based, hot mumbo-jumbo of a mess that is practiced today. Our history might as well be blank. Being recorded with lies is just the same as if they were blank. It is not anywhere near truths or facts & it isn't worth the oxygen used deliver it or the teleprompter in which it's displayed on. Nobody with of any intelligence or integrity would buy the crap that's disguised as FACTUAL. Nobody cares about one's opinions, unless asked for such. It is beyond a disgrace to humanity the self absorbed, pocketlining, lying agendas that "We the People" are being force fed. No matter the side one may be on. There is only 1 side, period! I wouldn't line the cages at the zoo with this book, the animals deserve better and so do we.

Amazing details and perfect for the inquisitive mind

My son is into history and loves reading about Presidents. I thought this was a super great price and when we received the book, it was beautiful and full of information, pictures, and a great read for my history buff son. I enjoyed reading through it as well! Great book to add to my collection.

Gave a copy to my grandson for a birthday gift. It is well layer out, informative. He was pleased. Gives him some great knowledge when he is debating!

Bellissimo libro sui 44 presidenti degli Stati Uniti d'America, da george Washington a Barack Obama. Io Ho preso la versione del 2016 quindi manda il 45esimo presidente, ma è presente nella versione del 2020.Ricco di immagini, illustrazioni, chicche e curiosità poco note ai molti. Ogni presidente viene trattato in 4 o 5 pagine, dunque non è un testo specifico o estremamente approfondito. Cerca di trattare in modo superficiale i punti salienti di ogni legislatura, non tralasciando di mettere in evidenza caratteristiche personali del presidente.

Very informative and well written book with great pictures. A must for anyone who likes politics and history!
