Zebra Energy SunSparks 100 watt Folding Solar Panel

Panel system arrived well packaged. Very good construction. The legs are hollow aluminium with plastic, riveted hinges. The legs should have been made a solid material and used screws (not rivets) on the hinge mounts in case they needed to be replaced. If a pet or someone runs into the panels, it won't take much for the legs to snap off. Very good clasps to keep the panel closed in brief case mode. Well made bag too. The accessories use heavier gauge wiring which is nice for the outdoors. The charge control box seems well made for outdoor use with heavy gauge plastic. There is one bank available on the control box to wire up lights if desired. The panels work best in direct sunlight. Partial sunlight (light through a tree canopy) doesn't work very well. I have a 12v battery in my tear-drop camp trailer. With the stereo, cabin fan, and a couple phones on their chargers, the solar panels kept my battery charged up without any issues. I have not tried to charge my battery from a low charge (5.0 volts or lower) using the solar panels. I will post the results of that test later. I will be purchasing another extension so that I can walk the panels out 30ft or more into direct sunlight when i'm under trees or in the shade. This set up is very compact and sturdy !

Very nice quality. Rugged hinges, latches and support legs. Very nice carrying case with large pocket to hold all accessories and more. Hooked it up to the house batteries of my Winnebago View at lunch yesterday, voltage at 11.6 V. At 5 PM the batteries were up to 12.6. I had a little problem and I emailed support. It turned out the problem was my stupidity and I had resolved it minutes after sending the email. I had a reply from support within a couple of hours with a lot of good suggestions and a willingness to replace anything it needed.

I would give this product a zero star but it's not an option. After going through the trouble of purchasing and taking it camping. It quit working and left me out in the dark literally .now I have to go to the trouble of shipping it back. I would say go with a different company. There are plenty other ones on Amazon for the same price.

Just what we needed for our travel trailer. Nice and compact and plenty of power.

This panel is great, I love the usb port charging option.

Really happy with this. Works great and packs up small.
