Buck n Bear Custom Handmade Damascus Utility Hunting Fixe Blade Knife (Green Micarta Handle)

Have to give it 3 stars for the sharpness. It’s not an overly expensive knife so I’m not measuring against what I would expect from a $500 knife, though it really seems to be well made at first glance. I doubt I’ll put much stress on it and test the durability, but it is a beautifully made knife. I just can’t get myself to give more than 3 stars for such a beautiful knife that arrives at my doorstep dull. This thing wouldn’t cut a tomato how it showed up. I also can’t get myself to return it because it is a truly beautiful knife, great Damascus pattern that I love, real Damascus steel (unlike a lot of fakers with printed Damascus patterns), and a continuous piece of steel from the blade to the bolster, all the way through the tang. I absolutely live the knife, but if I can pay $30 for a folding knife that shows up sharp enough to shave my face, I should get a sharp knife with the quality that BuckNBear has put out. Summary- gorgeous knife, very well made, not sharp. That being said, it’s so gorgeous and so nice that I am willing to keep it and sharpen it myself.

The only downside to this knife is the picture makes the scales look black but mine are olive green and navy blue, it looks fine and after seeing the craftsmanship it didn't upset me. The knife is well pit together, its a perfect weight, holds an edge like crazy. Real damascus blade.

My first BucknBear knife. Has a nice, solid heft to it. The edge arrived sharp and has been holding up well so far. I appreciate the stitched leather sheath, too many knife companies are cheaping out when it comes to the accessories.

This handle was a little short for my hand so I had to return it! The knife was beautiful and would fit most mens hands. I have extra large hands and this was just a little short on the handle. I really liked this knife though and wish it sized up.

Love this knife. Perfect size to wear on my belt. Great addition to my collection.
