Convenient and Fun
I purchased this wireless door chime for my daughter's college townhouse, specifically for her sliding back door, and it has been a fantastic addition! The installation was a breeze, and the range of fun sounds to choose from added a playful touch to the home. Not only does it serve its purpose as a reliable alert system for guests or deliveries, but it also brings a smile to everyone's face with its delightful chimes. My daughter absolutely loves it, and I appreciate the peace of mind it provides. Highly recommend this wireless door chime for both its functionality and entertainment value!

Nice product
I bought this for a small office as I work alone and need to know when people come in. The product was very easy to set up, is small and has a nice ring. You can adjust the volume and it has a good range that the doorbell and sensor doesn't have to be close to each other. I would recommend this product.

Some TIPS / things to know before install
The media could not be loaded. 5 stars for price point and ease of use, 3 stars for instructions and hard(ish) to use mute feature. This unit is very simple and does indeed work to alert you when a door is opened. Unfortunately, the instructions are oversimplified and sorting out things like tone and volume are not intuitive. Below I listed what I learned in the process and hope it helps the next buyer. Setting it up took way longer than it needed to, and a lot of trial and error; but, the finished install works great and I would buy again.STARTING: When you get it, you just plug it in. The chime noise comes out of the unit at the plug, so consider where you want to hear the chime when choosing where to plug it in (and it has to be within 500 ft. of the door you're monitoring).TONE: There are only two buttons on the unit. (1) The tone button, which is marked with music note icon; and (2) the volume, which has a sound icon. Note which is which before you plug it in (they are hard to see, and if you’re plugging it in behind or under something like I was, even harder). To adjust the tone you quick press the tone button, once for each tone. What the instructions do not tell you is that to get to the next tone you have to press it again before the current tone ends, otherwise it just plays the same tone again and you may think it's not working. When you find a tone you like, you can just stop - there is nothing more you need to do to set to that tone. There are 58 tones to chose from, from simple chimes to melodies. If you want to go back to one you heard a few tones ago, can go in reverse order by holding the tone button down for a few seconds until you hear a beep.VOLUME: Similar to the tone, you short press – and need to do so before the tone ends. There are 5 levels. From mute, it goes up through the levels, then makes a two-beep sound, then goes back down. It's a bit of a hassle to run through them and get back to mute every time you want to adjust or mute. FYI - In my attached video the tone is very low and may be hard to hear. I have it set to a lower volume and was about 15 ft away from the plug in unit. It does go up loud enough to be really annoying if/when in a quiet space.BURGALAR ALERT: You *might* be able to use this as an intruder alarm. There are various tones and volumes, some are long and definitely loud enough to wake one up or hear through normal volume music/regular house noises *IF* the unit is plugged in near you. It does not, however, have a screaming loud alarm like, for example, window glass break sensors do. The maximum distance from transmitter to plug in unit is 500 ft., so you likely can't put the transmitter on one side of your home and the plug in unit (chime sounder) on the other side, unless your home is smaller. So if you live in a studio, it would absolutely work, but if you live in a 2-story home and would need to hear it sounding from downstairs, no way.MUTE: My one gripe about this unit is that's it's not easy to get to mute. Mine is plugged in behind a dresser and I have to reach back there, the press the button repeatedly until cycles to mute - and I'd likely go through that a few times because with the needed quick press it’s easy to miss stopping on mute. For my purpose I want to be able to turn it off and on daily. I would have paid for an upgrade for a remote that switched it off, or an app, or even just an on/off button or toggle on the unit. Unplugging it resets things, so that's not a good option. As a hack, I used command strips to put it up and I just pull off the small magnet to disengage.PAIRING: It comes paired, you just pull off the battery tab and it works. There are instructions for pairing, (to be used if you have multiple devices or I guess if it un-pairs for some reason), but on mine it wasn’t necessary. Just FYI - this is not a smart device, it pairs only from the unit to the transmitter, not to your phone. For the money that's fine, but with all the tones and features advertised one mistakenly might think it does.INSTALLING THE TRANSMITTER: I could not install as pictured because of my door trim. Easy enough to fix, I just put the large part of the transmitter on the door and the small magnet part on the edge of the trim (see picture). I also used velcro strips instead of the included adhesive, for easy removal of either side of the unit. FYI - the transmitter has to be very close to the magnet to work (1 cm), and you need to ensure the transmitter and magnet are facing each other the right way (there are marks on it to indicate, and you can play with it before you install - the instructions do cover this part).

Does what is needs to do!
Very easy to install. Everyone in the office can hear now when someone walks in.

Works great.
Works great, might need to put double sided tape on that's better to keep from coming off the wall.

Great but too common now
This was a great addition to my door. Helps with knowing when someone exiting and entering. All the other reviews are correct. Easy to install, nice tones and plenty of options. My issue is it's on too common a frequency. Some months after purchasing it just started making noises even tho nobody was opening the door. That ended up making this thing useless to me and had to find another product. Would be great to add some kind of authentication or pairing with these to avoid conflicts where neighbors may trigger mine to go off.

Effective, randomly goes off
It serves its purpose but randomly goes off at odd times, which can be creepy

Good
Is it possible to set the receiver to flash continuously until the transmitter and magnet are side by side ?

Great product but came with USA plug with no adaptor not a huge deal but when delivering to Australia it would have been good to use out of box.
