REVISED: Beautiful, but may have weight limit issues with some towels.
I bought these to put in my lady bathroom, which is feminine and lovely. It would accent well. I have tile walls and I'm renting so I did not want to put holes in the walls. Thought these would be perfect, which will be the case if they stay up.Update: August 14, 2013. My first review was in July. I had a hard time getting these to stay up, and although these are beautiful, if these aren't functional, well...After these stayed up on a cabinet door for about two weeks--not where I wanted these-which was on the ceramic wall--I bumped these up to four stars from the original two I gave. NOW - the cups are back down again! This is VERY frustrating. I originally bought two sets at $15/each. That's pricey...but as pretty as these are, I reluctantly paid it. NOW I'm dropping this back down to 3 stars. I give it 3 stars for the beauty of the piece, and the fact I can use these elsewhere, but I had to use these in my kitchen for pot holders as these will not stay up on my bathroom walls at all... :-(. The manufacturer wrote me and indicated mine may be defective. Said these hooks should hold up to 5 lbs. My towels are around 1lb each. I'm disappointed.

Updated review
After my initial negative experience with these, I recently ran across the hooks in a kitchen drawer and before I threw them away I thought,"What the heck, it can't hurt to try again, right?" So just slapped them on the shower wall without wiping down the tile with alcohol first, pumped the button several times, and I'll be darned if they haven't stayed up for a couple of months now. So while I can't say it will work for you, my experience was better without freshly cleaned tile.Initial review:When I saw these available, I thought they were the same hooks I used to buy at Walgreen's for use in my shower. Boy, was I disappointed. Even though I followed the directions to a "T," these won't stick to tile or glass. They were a total waste of money, but it's not worth it to pay to return them. I ended up going back and purchasing the less-attractive but more effective "ABC Products" - Magic ~ Stickum - Multi-purpose - Suction Cup Hook for the shower. They actually stay on the tile.

One works great!
At first, I would have given these 5 stars. They coordinate well with my bathroom. I wanted to use them in my shower for bath towels, because there is no towel bar, and I have smooth marble tile walls, or glass. The first one started falling off after about one week. It falls off even without a towel on it. I moved it to my sink area and hung it on the mirror, and it did the same thing. The second one has been working great where the first one started. It has been there for at least two weeks. Our bath towels are heavy if they are damp.

but they match with our chrome fixtures and do the job just fine.
At first we bought these to just use temporarily, but we've decided to stick with them and not even buy permanent hooks. I just push the center button in maybe once a week or so to make sure it won't loose suction, they've never fallen after daily use for months now. Not the prettiest looking things, but they match with our chrome fixtures and do the job just fine.

Works kina sorta
Used in a vacation home for glass shower walls (exterior of shower). It held up while I was there, but when I returned it had fallen down. Also, the hook is fairly narrow and doesn't hold a towel with just a flick of the wrist. You really have to position it on the hook. Not bad looking and a decent price but probably not worth your time.

... but if they fall off for some reason they pretty much will never work again
They work well the first time you use them but if they fall off for some reason they pretty much will never work again. Of the two I bought one is still holding months later but the other wont stay up for more than an hour.

Hold very well on ceramic tile in shower.
This products holds very well on a ceramic wall in the shower. It is too small to hold a towel but it works good for a back brush or a shower cap. The hook is not big enough for a thick towel. But the products works very well.

it ok
It must be on a completely flat surface for it to suction. I wanted to use it on the side of a sink, but could not. It does, however, adhere to the wall fine.
