first time purchase for 60lbs pit/terrier. The dog fell in love with the toy. He is an aggressive chewer. Once he noticed the squeaker about an hour in. This is when he started to really pull at the toy. The squeaker only lasted about 2 hours till the dog was able to get it out, but my dog does it like a surgeon and the toy is still intact with all limbs. A small hole has been made by the dog above one of the legs on the belly where he got the squeaker out and one on the beak. A mild amount of cotton, but the toy holds up. The material is like a Carhart/work jacket but softer, although may not be the best for dogs with sensitive teeth. After the squeaker is out, the dog lost a little interest in the chicken, but I can pick the toy up and it starts the excitement right back up. Great product, 9/10 durability but feels safer for my dogs teeth than the crazy hard plastic fake bones that flood the pet market.

Fairly rugged toy for the dog. Held up fairly well even though our dog likes to try to pick them apart. Trying to teach him to be nice to his toys. He loved this one and this is the second one we bought for him. Had the last one for 5 months before the stuffing started comming out and it was looking pretty grubby.

The first thing to go...within minutes...was the red felt plume on top of head. Would have loved this to be made of tough canvas too. But overall, so far, so good for my tough 4-month old pup. He loves his Chicken!

Lasts a long time…mostly because my doggie loves it so much and takes care of it.

I purchased this as a gift for our 1 year old pocket bully who is very calm, friendly and not aggeessove. i know the toy is intended for those breed because it says its made of heavy duty canvas.Once opened our pet got excited on it since he loves plushies, but noticed it barely made a squeak sound you really have to press it hard but can't barely hear.And the toy didn't even last for a day because it already got a rip and tear on the sides which we ended up throwing because the stuffings are coming out.

Any toy that can last longer than 15 to 20 minutes with our little monster is exceptional. This one goes above and beyond exceptional! No matter how hard she tries, she can’t do any damage to this.
