Make Your Own Game Apps - For Kids

To make this easier to read I will post it as a list of what I found and I only made it to page 68 out of 137 pages in the book. I do computer support and was testing the book to give to my son this is what I found.1. You must go out to the website for the book. it doesn't say to but there are addendum's listed there. They make changes like skipping 3 steps/pages early on in the book. They change the link for the Android studio, but I looked and it doesn't seem to matter. It also make a change to the code.2. There are help tips, this drove me crazy because they are placed at the end of a section. They should be placed on the section/page they refer to and this is why. You do the steps and then they tell you things you could change or not after you completed the step/3. The steps in the book are just click next, click finished.... no screen shots and they are not up to date with the Andriod studio 3.0.1 that is downloaded. I had to add a few steps and once I got the software up it did add some more sdk and ....4. Goes back to number 2 screen shots showing where instead of saying click the circle...The website is OK, but not much there that I saw, one zip file with code so far that you can download. Maybe in future it will get better and more developed.I am going to try and figure out the steps and see if you could actually use the book, but I think for my son I am going to look into a better book that is up to date.Good luck

This book is a gift to my Nephew who is very tech savvy. This is a Great book to get the youngsters mind on grasping the concepts of the digital age.The purchase sent and shipped as advertised, I will do business with in the future

Bought these as gifts for my nephews and it was their favorite gift!!! I flipped through it and it's easy to read. The directions are simple and the font is larger like a kids book. I'd say if an adult wanted to learn, this would also be a great starter book.
