Overall a great top.
The only thing I would change are the black plastic clamps that attach the straps. My last bimini frame, which I destroyed when I accidentally left it up and backed the boat under the carport, had loops on the straps that slid around the frame tubes and then had a screw and finishing washer that screwed though the back of the loop and into the tube to hold it in place. This takes up a lot less space in the storage boot, it stays in place better, and it comes completely installed and ready to go. The clamp method on this top proved to be rather finicky to deal with. The clamps are actually bigger than the frame tube (go figure) and will only stay in place by tightening a set screw that is very easy to strip. Then the straps have to be threaded through the ends and secured somehow. There are several ways to do this and none of them look great if you ask me. I cut the straps to length and folded the attachment end three times to form an inch long, 3 layer thick section to be squeezed in the clamp ends. I then drilled a hole through all three layers and send the clamp screw through the hole. This seems to be the best way but I'm now researching to see if I can find straps like my old ones, but so far it isn't looking good. I would re-use them but two broke in the backing mishap. The method I used will probably be good enough if I can't find them though.Anyway, I did get it on the boat and it is handsome and sturdy. I didn't use the fabric that came with it as my 20 year old white vinyl one looks like new and I seriously believe it will still outlast this canvas one. I put it on a shelf in case the trusty old vinyl one ever does fail. Vinyl bimini fabric seems to be going extinct now and that is a crying shame. In summary, this is a very good top and it is a great value. Don't hesitate to purchase one if you are in the market for a cost-effective bimini.

Does NOT come with rear support poles as ad states.
Does NOT come with rear support poles even though this ad says it does. I didnt want to wait for an exchange so I installed it anyway so I could use it and ordered rear support poles separately to installlater. The quality seems to be pretty good for the price point. It is a made in China product after all. A custom made or factory installed top will cost four or more times this cost. Therefore ordering rear support poles seperately isn't a bid deal. Also when I called the shipper (Marine Rv Direct) I left a message stating the issue and they never returned my call.

Game Changer on the Lake
My opinion, don't go spending $4-500 on the "premium" Bimini tops. There's no reason to. This thing was easy to install and works like a dream. It's adjustable, so you can move it forward and backward and it pulls up and goes down with ease. Comes with a nice zippered cover for when you aren't using it. We used to roast on the lake with the stupid cover that came with the boat but this was the answer. We can be out all day now, completely comfortable, and at half the cost of the top we were going to buy.

Great Value
We got what we ordered. It was easy to assemble and install. The bimini seems sturdy though it on a sailboat. So it only has to cope with natural winds plus a few extra knots. It is not sturdy enough to be used as a handhold, unlike the much more expensive kinds. The fabric's color matches what the purchase selector displayed. The appears solid and opaque, though it is thinner compared to the much more expensive kinds of bimini covers. It looks like the much more expensive bimini covers. But it probably won't survive: strong storms, careless passengers, or being exposed to the sun all day every day.Bottom line: It is an attractive and functional bimini top that needs to be treated carefully. Very good value for the money at the time of this purchase.

Works great, worth it
Works great! And for the price its a no brainer. Used it a couple times on the lake and so far it’s holding up well. The straps are very long so i had to wrap them over the framing of the Bimini so make it work but that’s a small issue. The cover for when your storing it is very nice and easy to use as well. Will buy again for any future boats or projects.

Buy extra poles to make it better
Decent cover. After reading reviews I opted to buy some extra metal pole supports for the rear section. Even with those it sways back and fourth a fair bit. Still, decent quality for the price. I wouldn’t trust it with just the straps up front and behind though!

Height size incorrect
Aluminum tubing well made but fell short by 6" on height. The top I ordered was to be 36" tall and turned out to be only 30" tall. Fabric is heavy duty, however, not double stitched. For the price I believe it is an okay value and it will last a season or two. This is not the quality of a custom bimini top.
