Many work colleagues have video doorbells, so, I decided to jump on the wagon. Glad I did now.There are many types on the market and range in price. I bought this one as it had good reviews, was middle of the road on price and I liked the look/style.It certainly does what it's supposed to do. The pocture quality isn't 1080p. It's a little grainy, but for close up, within about 15ft, it's very good. The night vision is pretty good too. OK, there are better ones I guess, but, for the price, this works well.Motion detection works great and can be altered in the app.Battery life seems really good. Using about 10% a week. This all depends on how you set it up in the app. If setting it for further detection etc, would probably drain a little more quickly. Can't comment on charging via the cable as I have spare batteries that i charge separately.Connection was simple. The app works very well. Not sure if the WiFi receiver is the best, as, although it picked up my WiFi from 30ft and through several walls, it was showing as weak. However.. I bought a cheap plug in WiFi extender, placed it close to front door and signal is GOOD now. I needed one anyway, to reach furthest parts of house, so, not sure buying a more expensive bell would've helped. I hear that even tte top named models can struggle with WiFi connection.Door chime works really well. Loads or tunes to choose from and simple to connect.I'm really pleased with this purchase. Maybe, I could have paid £10 more for the 1080p version, but, in all honesty... this seems fine for me and I would recommend it too others.

UPDATE 02 DEC. 2022:I BOUGHT A DOORBELL WITH NO SUBSCRIPTION ONLY FOR THEM TO UPDATE THEIR APP AND NOW IT REQUIRE A SUBSCRIPTION TO WORK!!!AVOID AT ALL COSTS!It is a decent video door bell overall.The battery life is about a week, don't expect too much.The app is temperamental.60% of the time will work , the rest will not even bother.The chime is working as expected.The motion detection is ok ish. In my case it is triggered by the near by spider web.When the app decides to work, the delay from opening the app to get image in your phone is about 5-8 secs.In my case I don't care, but I think this delay it's not acceptable for a door bell.Good:it's cheap, it's working most of the time, the picture is ok.Bad:don't rely on the phone app, the delay is annoying, the battery life is not good either.Make your decision based on your needs.

First off this is a good camera doorbell. Good picture quality both day and night,i really can't fault it. The chime is great just plug it I to a socket and when someone presses the door bell you get a pleasent chime. Motion detection is good but I suggest playing around with it otherwise it will eat battery and alert you everytime there's the slightest movement. Its easy to adjust and has plenty of settings to do this. My only gripe is it has stopped alerting me altogether in the app when someone rings the doorbell. Over all happy I am happy with it

This is very easy to install and connect with your device. Varied choice of chime and volume. Camera quality is excellent day or night. Motion sensor works brilliantly. You get alerts wherever you are, home or away. The sound is extremely clear both on your device and at the doorbell. All round fantastic security camera as well as doorbell.

Does exactly what you want it to do. Camera is superb, easy to install and charge. No need for the expensive alternatives.

I purchased this to add a little piece of mind, it is easy to install and set up, the app is simple to navigate. The picture quality good - better than I thought it would be given the affordable price. I have only been using the product for about a week so I’m unable to comment on the battery life but so far it seems to be lasting well.The only downside that cold present an issue is the security of the device but this I imagine will be the same for all such devices. As it is not fixed to the bracket (to remove for charging I presume).Overall a good product for a the price and does what it says

Everything works perfectly good except the motion sensor, which constantly sends notifications even when neighbour's bushes move. I tried to shorten the are still no change. And the biggest minus was the battery life. Half of the battery went away for a day. Every two days to charge a door bell, no thanks. If it kept the battery life for at least 10 15 days it would be perfect camera doorbell though. The refund process was easy and quick

Dont buy this product as there is no "free " cloud for the lifetime of the product.When I purchased this product from Amazon, the clincher was the "free" cloud storage for life. It was a great feature on the product. However recently this interruption on the ability to recall the images has been disrupted by the manufacturer telling me that I must now pay for the cloud storage. I find this very unfair as Amazon sold the goods to me with a clear and unambiguous statement of "free" cloud storage for life! Surely something for referral to the Office of Fair Trading! .
