This is a high-quality door hinge, with soft, closing capability. It’s easy to adjust and easy to assemble. They are pricey, but expected with good hinge.

The price was better than other sellers, action is better than other hinges.The "hydraulic" hinges have an "over-center" action, where if you don't open far enough, they will immediately start to close rapidly (and there is a bit of additional effort needed to get past that point, so not a smooth opening). Bluemotion has almost the same opening effort and motion as a non-soft-close hinge and always closes softly.I've also used 2 different types of "bumper" style soft close products that were not part of the hinge. Both worked OK but if installed on the handle side of the door frame, my wife always managed to knock them askew and if installed on the hinge side I noticed that over time the door became miss-aligned.If you can afford them, the Bluemotion hinges are the best. For many applications, the non-hinge bumpers probably work OK.
