I love this litter mat! It is fabulous! This mat looks great in the bathroom and its easy to clean! It catches all the extra grains of cat liter which fall on the floor!

This mat is large enough to put under the litter box and still cover the area around the box. Is holding up nicely with daily use and surface cleaning.

It looks cute enough but it doesn't trap the litter. Also, it needs to air out for a day or two as it has a strong odor upon opening.

Nothing great about this - it doesn't really catch the litter from kitty - but at least I can pick it up and return the little droppings to the litter box. I would not buy this again - not really worth it.

Works like a charm to catch all the incidental litter granules that escape from the litter box. We use a clumping litter, which has very fine granules. Large size is good for our jumbo-size litter box. Stripes make for an attractive mat. Easy to clean the mat by picking up and shaking outside. Granules do not get lodged "permanently". We used to use a simple washable cotton rug under the litter box. But, that never worked very well for catching and keeping the litter granules. The ribbed design of this mat is a key design element that keeps the granules on the mat. I purchased our mat at a pet supply shop, since it looked like an interesting design concept. I then looked it up on the web and found that Amazon carries it. I bought ours for $20, so Amazon's price is higher than my local pet supply shop.

I'm suprised to see the reviews that say this mat didn't catch the litter; it has put a complete stop to my twice-daily dustbusting around the litterbox. Maybe it catches some types of litter better than others--the one I use is called Fresh Results (generic Nature's Miracle, purchased at Wal-Mart). It is a corncob granule based litter. Guy's box is located in one of my bathroom closets, and I think it's great that I'm not stepping on pieces of litter every time I walk in there. Now I only vacuum once every three days or so. I like the attractive look of the mat, as well as the generous size and the fact that I could cut it to fit the closet floor. I'd give it five stars if it wasn't already falling apart after a couple of months. Big chunks of the foam that make up the striped design are missing, torn off who knows how or why. I don't know if mine is defective, or if others have had this issue as well. Bottom line is, it wasn't cheap, and I'll make it last as long as I can, but it's not as attractive anymore and I wouldn't pay full price for another.
