Completely disappointed....(minor spoilers...but who are we kidding...they are given zero significance in the books anyway)
I have been reading a lot of series type books and getting hooked. I am reading several at the moment and when I saw this series I thought, why not. I have been having a lot of luck and really enjoying these books. Of course, everyone's luck must run out some time, right. And with this series it came to a screeching, five car pile up, disastrous halt. This book was just all over the place. It begins with Becky or Rebecca cause although they share the same body they are in fact different people??!? I don't know. She is dating this guy August and while we find out about him (boring yuppie blogger who is hot) we find out that she works at....something in law enforcement but really I have no idea what she does as she only goes to work one time and then leaves right away, and then she is basically kidnapped (in the first few pages of the story) and we are introduced to Knox. Knox is all rich and sexy and dangerous and there is a connection between them from their past. He needs her to use her law enforcement connections to hide evidence against her father who is a supper bad crime boss whom Becky/Rebecca is estranged. Oh and he won't take no for an answer. Whew. Sounds pretty good right..I mean it got me hooked.WRONG. Everything that you think sounds good this author cuts out of the book. Its like she wrote a full novel and for some reason decided to chop whole chapters out and a few paragraphs to boot. We end the first book with Knox getting a little scary with his interrogation of Becky/Rebecca demanding that she admit to knowing more information about someone who she swears she does not know and then in walks her now ex-boyfriend (yeah the hot yuppie blogger ) and he is all like, "Yeah Becky, prove it." the end. And I am all like...wow this looks interesting..Knox is all mean and then ex boyfriend is all involved and maybe he is dangerous...hell I don't know..but I am going to rush and buy the next book cause I need this all cleared up for me like right now! Holy Hell was I wrong. The next book jumps in with...well you will see if you decide to continue...and we miss out on everything. The entire conversation, who the ex boyfriend is, the fight knox and Becky/Rebecca have for three weeks, the make up sex, EVERYTHING. We are told in a few short paragraphs what happens and not even the full story. We have to sort of fill some of it in ourselves. And the rest of the book was like that. Every time something interesting would happen, say Knox being super possessive or alpha or a big fight could happen, it is just glossed over to a very short somewhat BDSM sex scene. We are told that Becky/Rebecca is a little afraid of knox, that he is scary and possessive and alpha, but do we get to see him act like this...Um NOOO. It felt like ordering your favorite meal at your favorite restaurant and it comes out cold and overcooked. So what do I say...I say save your money and go get the Seven Sons series or the Uncovering You Series...seriously listen to me I know whats good for you.

OMG I love it
OMG! This series is going to be so so good! I love Cassia Leo and had no idea she was releasing this novella series. So it was a very nice surpriseBecky is the daughter of a crime boos but has managed to escape that life and her family. As a child she has witnessed so much crime and just wants to be away from that life. So far she has been doing a good job of that until Knox Savage enters her life and completely turns it upside downI won't give away too much but in the short time that we meet Knox you can't help but like him. He is so sexy and a complete alpha male who tells Becky exactly what he needs her to and she WILL do it. But I think there is also a sweeter side to him. Their first meeting ended in a way that surprised me but was very hot!! The chemistry between these two is off the charts, especially for two people just meeting. You already see some sort of connection.Knox is the beginning of a novella series that I know is going to be amazing. This first installment set the stage for what's to come. We are still trying to figure out exactly what is going on and who is who. And what it all means for Becky and Knox. And the ending.... Holy crap. I need book 2 now.I am so looking forward to this series and more of Knox.

Intriguing start. Liking me some Knox!
Considering this is a serial, it had what I would expect in terms of information. The first installment is always filled with background information, a way for you to connect to the main players and what not and this book delivers that.Normally when there is even the premise of cheating in a book it's enough for me to walk away from it. That's not to say i won't finish it at a later date, but I will walk away and not look at it the same. I didn't have that issue here and here's why. There wasn't enough of a connection between the two people in the relationship for me to feel offended when she ends up in the arms (and bed) of another guy. Does that mean I condone what she did, No, but man I didn't care one way or the other about August so I felt absolutely nothing when she stepped out. (which is a first for me)I like the building chemistry between Rebecca and Knox and there was enough of a thrill ride here, questions left unanswered and so forth that made me interested in continuing on and reading volume 2.I think what people need to realize going in is this isn't the Shattered Hearts series and it's not even Luke or Chase. It's uniquely Knox and you gotta keep an open mind.

Holy Hotness!
Holy Hotness is all I can say about this book!!! Cassia could never disappoint me!!! I love, LOVE her books and I can't wait to get the next one.Rebecca comes from a family of mobster but decided to leave that life and took one in law. She just wanted to get away from her family and leave her previous life behind her. When people learn where she's from they just instantly assume she's one just like her family (a mobster). The only reason why Rebecca chose this new life is because she wanted to show her family that she can. She doesn't like how her life was and she sure as heck wouldn't wish it upon anyone else.Mr. Holy Hotness Knox comes into Rebecca's life and just rocks her world. He has beautiful blue eyes and a body to die for. He sure knows how to charm a woman and that's exactly what he did with Rebecca. He is somehow tied to her past. He lets her know flat out what the terms are going to be with her and what he wants and expects to get. It's always his way! She basically has no choice, he makes the rules and he leaves her with no other option. This story is one you'll want to really experience on your own! The chemistry between these to was hot off the charts!!!! I was stuck to my kindle and CANNOT WAIT for the next one in this series!!

Interesting story but way too short!!!!
3.5 StarsWell that was a brief insight into Knox Savage!!!! Volume 1 only took me 50 mins to read but it was hot, Knox is sexy and I can see the series getting very interesting, just not enough in volume 1 to be able to rate it more than 3.5 Stars!!! I've got Volume 2 waiting though so I'm off to enjoy hopefully more raunchiness from the man himself :)

good read
I found this to be a good read but very short but at least there was a storyline through the book. Waiting for Knox 3 now, but if all the books are going to be this quick a read and then have to wait a while for the next one I will give up

wow
This was so intriguing with do much tensions and adrenaline. It keeps your hanging trying to figure out what is going on and how she can reconcile her past and her present. Fab read with hot steamy passion.
