Breaks the ice pretty well and looks nice. Its about the size of a cigar with the safety cap. My only concern is that the cap is wood of some kind and I worry if the pick goes into the cap wet, that it might mold or rust. I always make sure it's dry when putting it in. No complaints yetEdit:No rust or mold almost a year later!

Feels comfortable and sturdy in my hand. Threaded screw closure holds tightly. Pick itself is only about 2.75" long, and thicker than a normal ice pick. If it were longer I would have given a 5 star rating . Overall a nice product .

Visually appealing and high quality. It does what it's supposed to do and feels as though it will last in perpetuity.

I like this ice pick. it is well made doesn't rust, has an easy grip. The cover is helpful. I would buy this product again
