Great Item!
Great mortar and pestle. Just the right size and weight. I used it to mash some garlic for a dip, and wow, it just creamed it perfectly. I know I will be using this for other grinding tasks as well. Comfortable to use. Highly receommend!

Great quality
The only reason I didn’t rate this as five stars is , the photo shows it as black/gray ( which I wanted, and the one sent was mottled white gray) , other than that it’s a nice little mortar and pestle.

Great product, but color does not match picture
Great quality, BUT the one that I received is a grayish-white color, NOT the black as pictured. Hence 4 stars instead of 5. Despite this, I really like mine and use it often.

Very heavy (which is great! ) and grinds spices easily
Very heavy (which is great!) and grinds spices easily. I've been wanting a mortar and pestle for quite some time now and decided to get this style because of the more rough texture on the inside of the mortar and on the bottom half of the pestle. It's absolutely perfect. For this price, you really can't beat it.

BEST EVER
Best pill crusher ever..I am a throat cancer survivor and can't swallow pills. I tried all kinds of pill crushes and none hold a candle to this old fashioned way to crush. Absolutely recommend even if used for herbs, etc.

Just got this yesterday and I'm so excited to use it. It's bigger than I thought, which is a plus. It has good weight to it. It's not narrow like others I have seen, which is great. The inside and the bottom of the pestle have a rough surface to help with grinding, which I love. I'd definitely recommend this product.

Right size and does just what it’s intended for
Just right size for making Indian spices , doesn’t leave any chalk or residue so far 1 week of usage and is of good quality. Found this priced just right and recieved on time. Happy so far !!!
