I am 228 pounds and carry most of my weight in my legs. I have had a hard time getting ankle socks that don’t cut into my cankles leaving indentions where the elastic rested on my skin, sometimes even painful. These are the most comfortable socks that I’ve ever worn and they’re cute. Please don’t hesitate to try these socks. Oh, and they’ll fit normal sized people too!

Love these socks!. Usually have a problem with socks being too tight and leaving indents on my legs. The elastic that holds these up are a little further down, lower than the ruffle, and is soft, so does not bind. Ruffle is cute (got the shorter version). I've washed some of them them several times and used the dryer each time with no problem - they come right back to original size. I wear a 9 1/2 shoe and the fit is good, not tight. I like to just wear socks around the house and these don't seem to slip on the tile floors like my other socks do - don't know why. Read complaints about the colors - around the house color doesn't matter - and they're 'happy' colors. No big deal. Came back to order another pack, so decided to leave review.

When these first arrived I thought they were perfect!! I was so excited to finally have socks that didn't dig into my legs. NO SUCH LUCK !!! The tight elastic is still there // only it's hidden a couple of inches down from the top! Dear manufacturer.....this tight elastic is completely UN-necessary. The socks stay up just fine without it. Improve your design and save yourself some money too. Get Rid of that tight elastic !!! PLEASE!!!!

These socks are pretty cute and are comfortable. They don't slide down or lose elasticity over a full day of wear. However, they are pretty low quality and are not holding up after two wears. After wearing and washing them twice, they are already pilling quite a bit and have several loose threads. They look much more worn than I would expect. So overall, nice looking at first but probably lot for long.

I hoped with the ruffle it would not be so tight on my ankles as to make indents. But even after washing them and drying with the dryer on high, the elastic of the cuffs is very tight and leaves rings around my legs. Disappointed.
