Click and Grow Smart Garden Basil Plant Pods, 3-Pack

I was gifted with the Smart Garden by Click & Grow and absolutely love it! I’ve used it in homes of all sizes, even when I have had a garden space outdoors. I’m an avid cook, so love having fresh herbs growing in my kitchen that I can use whenever needed. I’ve even replanted them outdoors and they took off there as well. The Basil that I have now grew quickly and it’s fun to watch the tiny buds growing. The light that comes with the Smart Garden works 16 hours on and 8 hours off in the evenings during sleeping hours. It comes with an extension for the light as the plants grow taller. I just love it and highly recommend it. Also it would be great for kids to watch and learn about herbs and plants.

Up to standards. It is growing very well.

On our second batch of three pods. Planted them a week ago, per instructions, and all are showing several tiny leaves already! After we used the first batch last winter, which continued growing and producing fragrant leaves for our cooking, we transplanted the plants in outdoor pots once the weather warmed up. One plant didn’t survive, but the other two grew over a foot tall, and very bushy, giving us a plentiful supply all summer! Leaves we don’t use, I put in a freezer bag and keep in the freezer; not the way you’re told on the internet, but the leaves stay green and make delicious additions to soups, pastas, etc. A good investment!

[update] The company sent me a new pack of Basil and leaf lettuce. I put one Basil pod and it sprouted immediately. [original] Basil is my favorite pod and I have been ordered multiple times. I put two units at the same time last week and neither had sprout for a week. I do not see a return option in Amazon and left a message for return in the company website.

The growing system was a gift last Christmas and the basil pods that it came with grew so thick and lasted a couple months! It was the best tasting and supple basil I’ve ever grown. I recently repurchased the basil pods and began the process again. Looking forward to great basil again soon.

I love the Click n Grow! This is our first replacement pod set. The basil seeds sprouted in about a week and look great already. Replacing the pods is super easy. The quality is great. We’ve already pulled s few leaves and the basil tastes great.

This was a reorder for me as the first ones grew well, tasted great, and had a long life. So I reordered and this one has been a total disaster! First - it is never clear to replace the water wicks...which I finally learned but not from their website. Second, this batch has mold growing all over it. So I am growing mold well but the plant isn't growing at all. This is NOT an issue with Amazon but an issue with the quality of the three pods I received. The website says good customer service - must be in a different country or different language as I haven't had a response or a replacement. Maybe this will get someone's attention. I generally like the Click and Grow Smart Garden but this batch of pods has been just crap!
