I had a foster dog who had cancer in the stomach and in his esophagus so t tell you that keeping his weight up was nearly impossible One day with out eating or eating less he would drop weight so rapidly When I got him he was 8 pounds, I got him to weight 13 pounds but with crazy amount of food and added calories and feeding 5-6 times a day Once he stop eating so much he dropped down to 9 pounds in just one week, i purchase this and he would drink this multiple times a day along with the calories paste I would rub in his mouth this helped because was liquid so easier to get to his stomach and when he would not drink it I would add ice to it and or use a syringe and pour it in his mouth, gave him the entergy he needed. Although doctors gave him no more than a couple of months to live I was able with the help of these liquid calories to give him and extra year comfortably I use to carry him at least 5 mins but mostly 10 so the food or liquid would go down faster and he was able to get it into his stomach as he also had megasophogus so the food didn’t properly get to his stomach and that prevented him from gaining weight You can also put it over food But since he wasn’t always able to eat or chew the food this liquid calorie was amazing I also added the paste calories I crushed his meds and mixed it with the paste and rubbed it in his gums and I had to give him 13 pills a day He was not happy about that but mixing it helped Overall he went from 9 pounds to a nice 15 pounds with the help of liquid calories (his ideal weight should have been 17) but good enough for a dog who came to me with 8 pounds and would loose weight so Rapidly

My dog got into a baby porcupine, luckily only a few quills. However, she stopped eating. I brought her to the vet and she had a high white cell count and a fever. Two rounds of antibiotics later ( almost the whole month of July) she was finally feeling better. This product saved her life. She would not eat, and lost about 12 pounds. (she was a 65 pound Golden Retriever). I gave her 6 tablespoons of this a day via oral syringe. She would not eat anything! This was her only calorie content for about 3 weeks. THANK YOU! After she started eating again I kept her on this for weight gain, as I could only feed her small amounts for a while. It smells delicious and my other dog thinks it's a treat!

This product really does work! One of my dogs didn’t want to eat and on the second day using this supplement he wanted to eat his food and the other dog’s food as well!

THIS IS A GOOD REGIMENT FOR TOPPING UR DOG FOOD

I'd give this five stars if it were shipped more carefully. Once it arrived with one of the lids broken in transit, which meant the product thickened and dried out sooner than it should have. Another time, it had loosened in transit, and was included loose in a box with other items, and some dripped out on to them. Tightening the top and putting some good quality tape over the top, along with padding in the box to keep it from banging around, would solve this. That said, the product itself is fantastic. I had been struggling getting my very hugh energy dogs to out on weight. I'd tried making my own high calorie/ protein/fat food based supplement at home but too much of it upset their stomachs and led to messy poop. They LOVE the taste of this stuff (smells like vanilla) and havent had any negative digestive reactions. It possible it's even helped their poops get a little more solid. Best of all, they are putting on weight now and look much more solid. This stuff is expensive, yes, but totally worth it if you've got a dog that's underweight or needs extra calories.

I typically don’t leave reviews unless a product is just that good or just that bad. This time it’s just that great! Adds weight to my dobes and works fast. Don’t use too much if you’re dog is very active or you’re working him or her otherwise you might just end up with a fat dog. I use it on my 1 year old male who is in training and for lactating and females to build their weight up if they are thin after having a litter. Works like a charm for me, dogs all eat it fine, no diarrhea, no side effects and it’s a lot cheaper than the weight gainer powder I’ve been using for years. Two thumbs up and many paws up as well!

Will help a dog gain weight

This absolutely changed the game in my home. I have two pups 1. a black golden 2. a malimute. My golden will eat ANYTHING as soon as its put down in front of him. He's a very healthy weight. However, my Mali will just not eat. He will go days without touching his bowl. I have tried many dog foods, many different tricks and vet tests. I've tried cooking for him, added raw meet to his mix, ect. You can imagine EVERY attempt to get him on e regular eating basis. Recently we've found that he's lost almost 15lbs. You can imagine I panicked.. So naturally I purchased to add some healthy weight to him again. However, it helped in so many other ways. AS SOON as he see's the bottle poured over his food he will eat. If I do not add it, he won't even touch his food. At first, I had to feed it to him by giving it directly over the mouth, he did't have much interest of it on his food. However, after doing that about 5x, he learned the taste and smell and I transferred it his food as a topping. I was so scared we weren't going to find a solution. However, he is successfully gaining weight and FINALLY eating his bowl when it's put in front of him. Side note: HIS POOPS HAVE NEVER LOOKED BETTER!!!!! He pretty consistently had bipolar poops, never quite solid. However lately they are very very very healthy and ALWAYS consistent. Thank god for Dyne. Purchase!

My puppies love this. They have put on a nice healthy amount of weight and are responding to it very well. My older dog loves this and it is helping her recover from giving birth

My dog who is the pickiest eater on the planet loves this stuff I use it to keep her weight up because you could give her the tastiest piece of food and she would still look at it like it was dirt off of the ground I'm very appreciative of things like this otherwise my dog would be so anorexic that people would think I abuse her I sometimes think she does that on purpose so that people have pity for her and they think I'm crazy
