works great, had for about 4 months, only when I start my laptop now the motors seem to be getting loud... ie... seems like they're rubbing and making a grinding sound.. almost like a growling bear, but goes away after about 3-4 mins.Will watch this if it gets worse.Not sure if i'd buy again

I'm using with my 2011 Airbook. The fans still kick in. Maybe, because it draws its power from the macbook, thus causing the NEW battery to heat up.

I haven't had a heating issue and in fact can feel the cool air through the keyboard
I have an ASUS 17.2 inch gaming laptop that after prolonged use was heating up through the keyboard. After plugging in the cooling pad, I haven't had a heating issue and in fact can feel the cool air through the keyboard.
