Fun for adult reader as well as the child😊

I find it amusing, colors, numbers, educational and fun.

My son loves listening to the cd and following along in the book. My only issue with this product is that the cd had been splattered with a sticky substance that needed to be cleaned off. One cleaned the cd worked wonderfully.

I remember as a kid listening to Captain Kangaroo read this book and I fell in love with it. I read it to my children and have now begun to read it to my grandchildren. Such a fun and simple story!

A wonderful book that my children loved! 30+ years later, so do my grandchildren. A very special memory will continue on.

my son loves this book, they read it at school so he asked if we could buy it. it’s super cute and the quality was great.

I bought it as was told it is a classic for children and grown ups alike. However..It is odd.It is making me do silly angry gestures while reading which are not a great example for a toddler (and it is not like it is the bad character in the book doing them, so it is not clear for extra young minds).Finally I like the simplicity of the drawings, but for a book that names grey brown blue and red as the hats colours every other page, it is a shame they don't look the part. My 2,5 year old keeps correcting me that they are grey Orange green and red. And she is right.

This story is from my childhood (I am now 60) and I loved it. I read this to my 3 daughters as they were growing up and they loved it. They are grown now but remember it well. I decided to replace it in the hope that my grandchildren to be will love it too.

Great tale and very amusing for little ones. The language is quite stilted (I suspect the result of a rather literal translation) but is easily glossed over by an adult reading it.

My sons favourite story when he was little. I bought this for him to read to his baby son so he could relive his enjoyment and share it.

A great book to teach colours. Full of humour and often requested at bed times. Very highly recommended. An old favourite.
