Birdswire Gazebo Hanging Wild Bird Feeder

Replacing one that appeared similar only to get this in and find out it is half the size. I use sunflower seed chips and the opening are so small, the chips don't filter out on the perch. Once the birds eat what is on the perch, they don't come back. Possible a finer seed would work, but the birds tend to pick through those and eat what they want and throw the rest on the ground.. The specifications don't provide any size information. I should have gotten one from the store which is where I am heading to get a replacement.

This bird feeder can only be used by small birds. Cardinals are too tall to perch on the bar. The design is nice but needs to be larger.

For 16.95, this bird feeder was tiny. I didn't feel like going through the trouble of return, which I should have.The birds cannot stand on it to eat the seed, it is so small. Even my Painted Buntings.Just last week I went out to fill it and noticed it was cracked and broken in two places around where the birdstry to stand to eat. I have only had it out for less than 4 months.I just got back from Walmart with a much larger, sturdier feeder which looks like this one but only cost me $9.00!Think twice before buying this if you truly want a functional bird feeder.

Ok for the price. Edge where birds stand to feed is too narrow for most birds. Not very sturdy.

Material was cheaper than expected and item was smaller than expected

I have a very active wooden bird feeder in my garden but it needs replacing so I thought this plastic one would be better, it's a similar design. I hung it with seed, the birds approach, hover but are not able to land and feed. Apparently there isn't enough space for them to sit on the perch and lean forward to get the seed. I've had watched them throughout the day, many have made an approach but not one has been able to land. The item is totally useless! Don't buy it.

Thought it would keep the squirrels out, but No.
