Milescraft Corner Sander Is a Time-Saver, Easier on Arthritic Hands
This Milescraft Sander is exceptionally useful for sanding/smoothing two edges of a board simultaneously. The sander is designed for boards of common thickness, from 3/4" to 1 1/2". I used it on anything from a 1X2 to 2X14 and was happy with the results. Ergonomically, I have medium-sized hands and found the sander's size to be a nice balance between control and coverage. For woodworkers with arthritis, this sander is much nicer than the old "sandpaper with a 2X4 block", and is easy to use. It does not require an exceptionally strong grip to produce smooth results consistently. The velcro hooks are incredibly grippy, but changing sandpaper grits is easy. The sandpaper itself never slides around inside the sander, despite pressing hard while sanding. The plastic body is durable; I dropped it, accidentally stepped on it, and had heavy lumber fall on it without the plastic body losing shape. For the value it provides and for how often I have used it, this sander a no-brainer. It is now one of my go-to woodworking tools. I love my belt-sander for the large pieces, but when it comes to detail work and smoothing/rounding corners to a specific preference, I love this too.

Does what it claims.
Saved me from making my own. Nice for several paint removal projects. I am able to reuse some old used discs for hand finishing.

Saves time
Saves a lot of time by letting you sand two edges at once, and keeps them both even and 45 degrees. I like how it uses sanding disks which makes them easy to rotate for an even wear pattern and can find them anywhere. Useful little tool and the price is right!

Saves time and looks better on charcuterie board edges
I have been playing with my router table and round over bits for long enough. This little sander is so much faster and looks so much better. I never have to worry about tear out or sanding, forever and forevermore after I route my edges. I use 150 grit (after rounding over the corners on a disc sander) then I use a 5” random orbit sander With 180 grit and then 220 grit and I’m done. It looks so much better than what I got with a router and it is way faster.
