Works extremely well - perfectly sized if slicing veggies like zucchini.

This was also gift to my husband and it’s a great gift. It’s easy to use the sharpness of the blade is well made, the grip is strong and we don’t have to worry about cutting fingers, it’s safe to use. It’s also easy to clean all the parts of it. It works really good and fast cutting.

This is easy set-up,clean-up & storage. But it seems to be designed to mainly cut things in circles, the hand guard it comes with has small needles that are supposed to push into the item you want to slice but I found that when I tried to do that on a vegetable I wanted to slice lengthwise those needles didn'treach but if I cut it so it was round it did. So if you want to slice things lengthwise you’ll need to use the gloves and a fork or something to cut anything the long way. I do wish it was a bit wider as well.It at the end of the day it’s a good item and I’ll use it often for sure because it’s a time saver when I’m slicing veggies to make veggie lasagne 😁

I use mine mostly for thin slicing. I could never get such good results with a knife. I love that the handle collapses for storage, and it comes with a pronged food holder for hand protection. My friend saw me use mine and wanted one, so I got her one for a gift.

I remember clearly I was looking at a recipe book and they recommended this Mandoline. I didn't know what that was. So I looked it up and found it. We don't need another kitchen gadget but honestly this has saved so much time and effort. I love pulling it out in front of my mother-in-law who laughs and calls it the lazy person's knife. But when I show her how fast I am in cutting up stuff for a dish she is shocked. I love initiating with sliced onions and then chopping them up to make super diced onions or slice up some celery and then put it in my tuna. So many things I can do with this slicer it's awesome. During APPLE season I love slicing apples with it since it's super fast and you can eat every part of the apple. One question for the company that sold it on Amazon: What's with the gloves? I've never used them because I'm not sure what it's for!?

Was exactly what I needed and was easy to use! I had a mandoline previously but since we have had young adult family that needed help with rent, and our )son who becamephysically limited from his diabetes our extra rooms where I stored everything vanished quickly. All my kitchen items were all moved rapidly into boxes and stacked in garage. Long story short I cannot find anything now! It's so frustrating to do kitchen jobs without the equipment you know you already own!!Had family company coming in and knew I was going to need my mandoline for several jobs. Looked on garage with no luck so I started searching for a smaller mandoline that would be easier to use and store.This item was exactly what was needed!! Thankful for the reasonable price point! Company just left and all food prep went as planned! 😊

This mandoline was not user friendly and hard to use. It didn’t work for what I needed, and switching between different settings was frustrating. It sliced and shredded very poorly, which defeated the purpose of having it.On top of that, cleaning it was a hassle. I ended up returning it and buying a higher-quality mandoline from a better company, which worked much better for my needs.
