Don’t spend extra $ on over advertised products. Cremo is “barber grade”. Nothing quite like a straight razor shave, but quality blades are the difference between a 1,3,4 or 5 blade shaver, and shave cream with some scent options.

Hefty
Good quality and the razor has some heft to it. 10 shaves in on the first blade and counting. Blades seem to stay sharp and clean out easy with tap water , they dont load up and clog.

Love this brand
I've been a fan of the Creamo brand since it launched. Especially the shaving butter which is one of the best I've ever used. When I saw the razors I figured I'd give him a try. I assume they would be a rebrand or white label of the Dorco blades (same used by Dollar shave club and others) but I don't think these are. The bias on these blades seems different. You definitely will have to adjust your shaving style. Not unlike the blades by Harry's which also require an adjustment to your shaving style. You have to kind of get the angle figured out especially if you've been using Gillette or Schick blades for a while.Overall a very high quality razor. The blades last a long time and have a good design and the handle has a nice premium feel.At this point Gillette is so overpriced against stomach buying those and I'm not a big fan of Schick which are also probably overpriced. My go to Dorco blades or not available readily any longer and they seem to have changed their quality a bit as well, so that didn't leave a whole lot of options for me.I would say these are my second choice for disposable razor after the Amazon branded razors, which I think might be Gillette-made.Anyway, crimo is a great brand and I don't think you'd go wrong if you give these a try especially if you can get them on one of the special offers they frequently do.

The only razor in about ten years that has given me a smooth shave without irritation
Update: been using the Cremo razor for eight months. I stand by everything in my review. Cremo razor with Cremo shaving cream is a fantastic combination.Original review belowI'm a South Asian male with the associated barb wire growing on my face. Shaving is a nightmare with my hair's mystical abilities to distort expensive razor cartridges. I've tried numerous ones: Mach 3, ProGlide, Fusion, Fusion Power, Schick Hydro, and Dorco. The last two worked reasonably well with a good shave cream (Body Shop or Creme). I've also used a safety razor but disliked the irritation and cuts. Dorco worked well until about 3 or 4 years ago when their razors just dropped in quality - they wouldn't hold an edge, would bend while shaving, and would be almost impossible to rinse clean. The Gillette cartridges would work well for the first three shaves and then lose their edge and were absurd from a cost standpoint. I had switched to using the Philips OneBlade which works very well and without irritation but unfortunately cannot produce the smoothness of a wet blade razor.I saw an article on Esquire recommending the Cremo razor and decided to give it a try. I have so far used it three times and each time my shave has taken less than four minutes for an acceptable workday shave (shaving with the grain only). For an extra two-minutes, I can get a smoother shave by also shaving against the grain. I can use the razor for longer strokes than the very short strokes I could achieve with the Dorco and other blades and the blades are still sharp. The cartridges, also, rinse very nicely due to which they don't get clogged up with hair while shaving and this seems to help. I use Van Der Hagen shave oil with Creme shaving cream to achieve these results. I'm genuinely impressed. I'd like to see if I can get more than ten shaves from one cartridge - I've never experienced another razor that can do this. It's remarkable - it's almost an unbelievably smooth shave. And I have not yet had any irritation or cuts.I very strongly recommend this product if you have facial hair that's like barb wire.

Wow! Wow! Wow!
I have never written a review about a razor, but I had to do so in this case. This is truly the best shaving razor I have ever used. I'm an african american and it's not always easy finding a good razor. This one really gives me a smooth shave and handles great. Highly recommended.

Awesome but slippery
The razor blades can stand up to some of the best and more expensive ones out there! However the handle itself with it's stylist design is very slippery when wet especially when shaving in the shower. As we all know that dropping the handle could break the head making it unuseable to attach the razor which has happen to me several times! I would have rated this a 5 star if the handle had a better grip.

Best razor ever!
I am 66 years old and am one of those guys that when I shave I like to be able to run my hand across the grain of my beard and feel nothing but smoothness. I have used Cremo tube shaving cream for a few years now and have been very happy with it. I also like their Post-shave balm Spiced Amber. I have used a lot of different razors over the years. Gillette Fusion(do not know why their so popular, the handle connects to the bottom of the razor instead of the middle where you have more control of the pressure while shaving)Very expensive blades and not worth the money, have also used Barbosol 6 blade razor there actually not to bad although they tend to nick more often. My number one razor until I discovered Cremo razors was Shick Hydrp 5 Sensor, very good razor. Now I have found the last razor I will ever want to use,Cremo razor is number one now.I am now on my 6th shave(none of my other razors lasted this long, they say they last a month not for me) and it feels like the first shave,I have had no nicks at all,I get a clean baby face shave,do not feel anything when I rub against the grain of my beard. I think a lot of it has to do with the lubricated strip it is fantastic, all the others wear out by the 3rd or 4th shave, mine still going strong. So long story short if you want a really close shave with a great razor givde this Cremo razor a shot I'm glad I did.Best razor ever!!!
