These will fit a TREX post sleeve cover for a 4x4. They aren’t made exactly for vinyl composite but they are the best option available as I have searched hours for something that has a LED light and solar panel for TREX post sleeves. TREX literally offers no options besides a wired kit for light post caps. I am very happy with the final look.

These look good but i don’t understand how they could fit a 4x4 post, they looked really bad on the smaller post, even on a 6x6 I think the base doesn’t come down around the post enough, that being said the light and functionality is great. They look good by themselves I just didn’t like the look on a post.

We purchased these for our deck, and they are amazing- each light comes with an square adapter to fit a larger post if needed (ours are 4x4), and you can set the light for a dimmer yellow, or white light (pics are white light). Everything was included to attach them to our posts, and it was an easy set up. We waited to see if they would light up when it started to get dark, because we had only a couple of hours of light for them to charge up, and they all lit up (we ordered 8), they were bright but not overly so, and they look awesome! We would definitely order more, they aren't crazy expensive, but they weren't too cheap either (haha), definitely worth the price. Thanks for a stellar product!

We wanted to have some post lights for our gate for our new home because we kept passing our driveway at night 😂 so these work great! We have one post that is a 4x4 and one that is a 6x6 and the lights work wonderfully on both. On the 4x4 it overlaps the sides a little and on the 6x6 there is a tiny bit of room where the post shows. It's nice that these lights can go in any size post!

Works great for a gate light at night. They are in an area that does not get a lot of sun, but they get enough to last most of the night and by morning they are getting dim.

I am not thrilled with how these fit on 4x4 posts. Most people know that 4x4 posts are actually 3.5 x 3.5 inches. These cap lights say they come with adaptars that will fit 4x4 and 5x5 and 6x6 posts but when you put these on 4x4 posts they have a quarter of an inch gap all the way around because they are actually 4 inches by 4 inches instead of 3.5 inches. I think this gap looks pretty tacky and will likely allow for lots of bugs to nest under the lights. I installed them anyway thinking I may need to replace soon, I just dont feel like dealing with a return. On the positive side they are nice and bright and it is nice that you can switch between warm white and cool white light. I just wish they made them to fit a standard 4x4 post, especially because that is by far the most common post size in the US.

We absolutely love our solar lights. The lights look expensive and classy. They feel solid and are excellent quality. One light would stay on all the time so the company sent us out a new set for free. They were great to work with.

We love these lights, but be aware that you have to screw these into the wood posts inside the vinyl covers. The post covers that came with our railing system are about an inch deep allowing them to just slip on top of the posts. These require that you screw them into the wood posts because the depth of the cap part is only maybe 1/4". I had to sand down the wood posts in my railing because they protruded the vinyl cover by as much as 1/4". So to make it flush with the vinyl cover, I had to use a belt sander to make the wood posts flush with the vinyl cover so that these can be screwed on top. Otherwise, I'd have a gap between the vinyl cover and these lights.Regardless, they work great once you get them installed. They come in at night and give a wonderful glow to the deck. Don't expect them to be very bright. They're not meant to be that. The ability to change it from warm white to bright white is a nice touch as well. The battery will easily last into the night. I've noticed that they may shut off around 5 or 6am, but who's outside still partying until 5am??

There aren't any pictures of how they look on 4x4 posts in the product info, so I was a little concerned they might not fit well. Sure enough, they are a bit too wide for regular 4x4 posts (see pics). But I have grown to live with that. However, when it comes to lighted duration, they are a bit of a disappointment. Right now, in Canada, it gets dark around 4:30PM. These lights don't last past 9PM. And they are already pretty dull by 8PM. Not really good enough for my needs. Maybe it is a temperature thing - I will find out in the spring. But the ad says they are "Frost resistant", so I was hoping for better.

These are great and fairly easy to install. The issue is that they are made for a 4 x 4 post, when in fact, we all get ripped off with 3.5 by 3.5 inch posts. It's not noticeable from a distance, but it allows insects to get in and nest. I like the light and it seems to charge well with indirect light in the summer.

They seem to be very well made. have stood up to weather conditions so far. Pleased with the purchase.

Great item . They where easy to install can change to different brightness (Bright white or warm white). We like the bright white .Good valve for the money.

I ordered 10 for my backyard but one didn't work. The others were great. still working
