Jaguar - All the Cars Hardcover – April 15, 2016

What a terrific book- covers from the very beginning, up to the advent of the Tata Motors era. (which is just right; the Tata cars just seem less interesting to me...) There is quite a bit of detailed info here across all of the models. Lots of pictures and specifications. The only way to get more information regarding a specific model would be to get a book dealing with only that model. Really well written and laid out logically. Two big thumbs up; a must- have for the Jaguar enthusiast.

Loved the specs and production of each model and year by year changes. The special section in front on engines was excellent!

I gave this book to a friend for Christmas 2012 who is a Jaguar enthusiast, the content was very informative and it showed a lot of details for the different models and series of cars, right down to what wheel trims they had on what models, great book for someone like him, who is restoring old Jaguars for pleasure

I agree with others that this book is a `must' for any Jaguar enthusiast. Like all of Nigel Thorley's books it is well researched, well written and lavish with illustrations and data tables about the cars. Excellent stuff. I do however have a couple of quibbles in that the book does not have reference to C Type and D Type cars nor other more modern racing models. I suppose (because I did not see any mention of a deliberate omission in the Preface) that this is because these cars were/are not road models - but they are `Jaguars' and should they not feature in a book called `Jaguar: All the Cars'? Another trifling irritation is that the categories and measurements used in the tables are not consistent so direct comparisons on some features and with imperial/metric dimensions need a bit of thought and some mental arithmetic. I would also like to have seen a full list of options for each model and perhaps the original price list of such options - but perhaps that is too 'anorak'. You will enjoy this book, as I continue to do.
