I have been using this brand of beans for years. They are always of a very consistent quality. I have never experienced an issue with either cleanliness or foreign objects in the packages.

The cadillac of pinto beans
Great taste, easy cooking, no junk found when straining. Used these for Cowboy Kent Rollins recipe for authentic New mexico refried beans, which made the best tostadas ever.

We _love_ these beans
Have to order since no one locally (southwest Ohio) carries them. Worth it. They cook well. Maybe this makes us foodie snobs, but for us we'll continue ordering them.

The Freshest and Cleanest Beans You can Find
Been eating these Casserole brand for years and never found another brand that could compete with them. They are definitely the cleanest beans I have ever sorted. If you like pinto beans and haven't tried this brand I recommend you give them a try.
