Great teapot at good price!
This is my first teapot and I like it! It comes in a nice packaging so it would be perfect as a gift. It is a good size, I was expecting it to be bigger but I like that you can have five cups in a teapot that won't take much space in your cabinet. I didn't have loose tea so I cut some tea bags and put it in the filter. I was afraid that wouldn't work because the tea was thinner than the one that comes loose, but to my surprise it worked perfectly and I got a good cup of tea without any tea residues. Another good point is that I drank my tea 30' after I poured the water (at 190 degrees for oolong tea) and it was at good temperature to drink. I tried another cup 20' after the first and it was warm enough. So overall I am happy with a teapot that looks good and works good.Customer service was very attentive too, they contacted me after I place my order to offer help if needed.

Well Made, Minimal, and Classy Pitcher will Elevate Your Tea Service!
I usually brew loose tea leaves at home for myself and my husband, and love to serve customized teas for my guests as well. An issue that I had been running into has been the amount of work involved in preparing everyone's loose tea into their own cup with and infuser, and then having to empty 4 - 8 individual infusers into the trash and washing them all. Enter this gorgeous pitcher with infuser included, and now I am the hostess that my grandmother intended me to be.Not only is this pitcher minimal and classy, its so well made, matches my decor perfectly, and allows me to make a large amount of loose leaf tea for all my guests. Its such a time saver for me to measure the tea into one infuser, brew it in one vessel, pour everyone their share, and then dump the leaves and clean. The glass is so clear and beautiful, and yet the handle stays cool to the touch while it's full of hot water so that I can pour it without needing another kitchen towel or pot holder.I keep this out on my counter and have used it every day so far. Once the weather gets warmer, I'm going to experiment with making fruit and iced tea infusions. I highly recommend this product. If you are a loose leaf tea drinker like me and my family, you'll benefit from having this pitcher in your arsenal of tea supplies.

Beautiful Teapot Kettle With Some Breakage Concerns
EDIT: Happy to report that this is really a spectacular product. Upon sharing my complaint with Kitchables about the shattered glass, the customer service team reached out within 24 hours to address the matter. Even though the item was out of stock, I received a new one within about five days.We tried the kettle last night as a cold tea brew device, placing about 9 grams of tea into the infuser, stirring it up, sitting it at room temperature for an hour, then cold brewing the tea overnight. This morning, we not only had spectacular tea, but we also had a easy to handle, pretty to look at teapot kettle to serve the tea. My guess is that you could use this for cold brewing coffee as well, which is one of the things I look forward to using this for next.My only complaints are about the instructions (there are no directions on how to use or care for the item, which follows a pattern with Kitchables products), and the broken glass / durability concerns, which the previous review (see below) shares in greater detail. This second shipment was properly stored in a box with plenty of padding, while the previous shipment was a box with no protection whatsoever (and no guard from the glass scattering throughout the box). I truly believe if Kitchables is able to get a handle (no pun intended) on the breaking handle and glass on its way to its final destination, I think it has one the best glass teapots on the market.ORIGINAL: I was really looking forward to trying this glass teapot kettle out! Unfortunately, the product shattered during shipment and arrived with glass shards spread within the rest of the box. Kitchables responded to my inquiry saying they are currently out of the product, but will send me a replacement (on their dime) when they're back in stock.I look forward to updating this review with a more thorough and accurate understanding of the product's quality at that point in time.In the meantime, I wanted to mention that this is actually the second Kitchables product I've received that has broken in its box ahead of its arrival at my house. The glass products, while beautiful to look at (and generally outstanding for use), are also quite thin and seem prone to breakage. I'm sure this is a rare occurrence, but I did want to express my concern to folks who are buying them about the fragility of the glass.

Very happy with purchase
The media could not be loaded. I’m not a tea drinker myself, but bought this for my boyfriend & he says it makes great tea. The video is one I made for him with the kettle I kept for him at my house with just boiling water since he was skeptical about being able to use it directly on the stove. The handle got warm (like the temperature you feel when shaking someone’s hand), but not hot at all. My metal whistling teapot got yucky so I’m using this regularly to boil water now. I like that it’s clear, dishwasher safe, and won’t corrode.Update: still working great for tea, but now have also tried it for cold brewing coffee (which is my favorite) & it works great for that too! Lots of people complain about brewing coffee & tea in the same pot because it’s said to affect the taste of both, but the materials used to make this do not hold any flavors once washed so it’s excellent for both cold brew coffee & steeped tea. (Haven’t tried it for anything else)

It says it can go on stovetop, but not so sure...
I love this little teapot. It's adorable. It says for stovetop use, but honestly, it doesn't seem like it should be put directly on the heat. I use it as a traditional teapot, and pour water in.I do have a couple "wishes" for it. I wish the tea diffuser could be removed, but the lid kept on. The lid is too small for that. The diffuser has to stay in.Also wish they had included a "cork" for the pouring spout. I made my own and it helps keep it warm longer.I would buy this tea pot again. It's just too cute.
