Brilliant. So much customisation when using the PC editor. Sounds just like a tube amp. Love that I can switch between a clean marshall sound to a heavu uberschall sound. Good options and great IR loading capabilities. The IRs given are great and there are a lot of them. It would be nice if there were some other effects like chorus or something, but seeing this is an amp modeller, it is fair enough. The FX loop is brillirant. Though if youre plugging straight into an audio interface, be careful with your Interface gain and the AmpAcademys master volume, or you can get crackling noises. I go for a low master volume and use more gain from my interface to avoid this. But overall, works great if you want something for live and recording. An all in 1

Easy to dial in the settings you want... Either on the unit or via USB through the user friendly app on your computer.Usable reverbs, drives and boost pedal options and an excellent nose gate.Fits really nicely in my board with great options all round -line in & headphone out, xlr out so you go direct to a PA , send/return for time based effects. Oh and you can use it as direct into your computer for recording purposes.Some guitarists may be disappointed by the lack of Stereo out... but if that's your bag then you can always pay twice as much for a Strymon.

I loved this on receipt and would highly recommend for anyone looking for classic amp tones at a bargain price. Easy to use and fits on the pedal board great. Ideal for the gigging guitarist.
