Super bright and great light spread
I am really happy with this light and the tripod stand so far! The flood pattern is plenty bright and it spreads out so you can see what you're working on without getting blinded. The standard flashlight mode is super bright and has some good distance, that one will blind you.Really good construction quality on everything, especially the tripod. It is surprisingly sturdy and is easy to get the light in the right spot unlike that useless kid that always shines it in your eyes. The remote is a cool bonus and nice to have with the tripod fully extended. Thanks STRK for making some high quality and creative products!

I want this to be better for the price
I do love it, but my main complaints are the light is glued in place and the glue failed and it popped out without any extreme handling. You can just pop it back in, but you can see the glue residue that failed and that happened in the first time inspecting it and testing it before even actually using it outdoors. And the support beams are terribly frail and buckle when you don't even feel like you're applying any pressure. Works great, otherwise. It should be way more durable for the price is the problem. It has a weird battery indicator system.(1 blue LED) 0-9%, (2 blue LEDs) 10-24%, (3 blue LEDs) 25-59%, (4 blue LEDs) 60-100%You would think the 4 dots would be 25% increments, but no.The other weird thing is it lowers it's brightness just a little bit enough that you don't notice unless you turn it up again later(maybe a heat protection thing? I don't know, but I only notice it if I check it 30 min later to see if it's still on its highest setting.) I really wish this thing could have a better battery life to get some maximum lighting for an entire weekend, not just one night, though. I only got it because I had plenty of Amazon gift cards saved up from various rewards programs. I use it for a 3 night camping trip, but the best way to get the most of it is to run it from around 7pm to 3am on a slightly lower than high, but more than half setting. It takes one and a half 49800mah(product claiming) battery banks to fully charge it again for the next night. I use 3 of the cheap $30ish battery banks with built in solar panels from Amazon and it works to get 2 more nights of use on my camping trips. Linked if you're interested...https://a.co/d/bRj81oo

Got One for a gift gave one for a gift
We received one for Christmas and liked it so much. We bought one for our son for his birthday. It is lightweight and bright as a carrying case and a long battery life. There are so many uses for it. Everyone should have one.

Terrible stand design with weak materials and overall design issues
Update: 2023-07-125:Amazon sent me a new one and the legs open and close a lot easier. The light actually collapses all the way down as it should with no resistance at the bottom like the other one. I'll update again after I use it on the next trip in a week. I still feel the legs and extensions need to be redesigned. They are too weak prone to failure with any degree of dust/debris.Update 2023-07-18:I really tried really hard to like the product, but the design and materials used leave a lot to be desired. I really like the light itself, but the telescoping stand really needs to go. The friction lock tubes are a nightmare to use when they get dusty. The inverted leg design is understandable to house the battery pack at the bottom, but that could have been easily resolved by attaching the battery directly to the light at the top. The legs are made of U-beams that are extremely thin walled and the brace for them are flat metal bars that are easily bent with very little force. They use the same friction tube for the outer piece that the legs attach to so the slide ring for the legs don't slide smoothly. If you get dust on the unit, as one does when camping, opening and closing them is extremely difficult and I actually bent the flat leg braces trying to close the legs because the ring wouldn't slide over the outer tube due to the material used and the small amount of dust on the tube. Even with the lock ring fully removed from the ring, it still wouldn't slide to fold up the legs. There's too many flaws to warrant a $200 price tag.Update 2023-07-05:I took the light on a weekend trip to test it out before returning it to get an idea if I really want to get a new one on order. It performed as advertised and did better than I expected. I found some things I really liked about it and some that I wish they would change. The good:The battery lasts a LONG time. I ran it all weekend without needing to charge it. I ran the white light at 50% and it was more than bright enough to see and cook with. I ran the red light all night at it's max brightness all night so we can walk around if needed. When I finally took it down Sunday morning, I still had well over 50% left on the battery. The remote control is nice to have so you don't have to walk up and press the button on the light base. The stand itself is pretty sturdy and I think I understand the design decision behind the inverted legs. The bad:Lets start with what I found was the most annoying... the use of plastic for the pole extensions and how they "lock" in place. The sections are friction locked when you pull them all the way out. This makes the pole sway a lot if you don't extend it all the way because there is a gap between the section. I understand the need to save some weight and maybe cost, but I feel having a mettle pole with clamp locks would have made the pole feel a lot sturdier. Not to mention having some dust and debris falling into the sections would cause less damage to the pole sections. This particular design makes the pole feel extremely flimsy. The remote has a extremely limited range and uses a non-rechargeable battery. Having it charge when mounted to the bottom of the stand would have been great. You have to be within 20-feet of the light for the remote to work. The red light is DIM. even at max brightness, it is really DIM. It's just enough to navigate with but DIM.Old Review:The box was previously opened and sealed using new round sealing stickers over old ones. The packaging is missing. You can see the marks along the shaft where the legs slide and fold up. It's dusty and there was dust and dirt inside the extension tubes. The battery was almost fully charged when I received it. Batteries are usually shipped about 30%-40% charged. I paid over $200 for a NEW item. This isn't new.

Cute, but too small and not sturdy
cute for something small but wasn't big or sturdy enough to keep. Didn't throw light like expected. Cute design. Nice remote, but easy to lose.

Make sure you take the time to stake it down if you are on uneven ground.
The media could not be loaded. Love the versatility of this light. Works great out at camp, and the included remote is a game changer. If you have to get out of your tent in the middle of the night for some reason, you can light up your campsite to see what’s going on before you get out. Also it goes up pretty high, I wish it were just a little bit taller though to keep the bugs further away when it’s on. It packs up nice and small, and recharges pretty quickly. I 100% recommend, I will actually be buying a second myself.
